Well, the lens I was using was actually a 70-200 L with IS, I could probably have got away with shooting under the 1/focal length rule quite without too much of a problem. I've shot 1/20 @ 200mm before and got some sharp pictures (although not very often, admittedly).
Oh well, it's not that much of a problem, the camera body handles 400 iso nicely, and it came out sharp, so not really that miffed about it

Super sharp focus, good use of DOF compression, excellent sautration and exposure is spot on especially considdering your focul length!

Thanks again, my only regret is shooting at iso 400 the whole day (why did I do that?). Oh well, with shots like this you can't really tell the difference unless you start peeping.

Very cool shot. Think I would have chose that ISO too, Looks like it was bright enough for 100 but the amount of zoom you had going on wold mean that the shutter would be forced to stay open a bit longer (even just by a fraction of a second) and I don't think the image would have looked as sharp.
