Description
The autumn weather was blowing a cold and rainy wind through the city. A young woman with a hoody over her head, jumps over a puddle. She waits at a traffic light before crossing one of the large boulevards of the cities. She walks along the skyscrapers a bit longer before arriving at her destination. The large square before the national museum of Archeology and History. The last visitors were leaving the building and the woman was making her way against the stream of people. She enters the large museum and looks around. There was no one at the front desk anymore. She shrugs her shoulders and makes her way for the back offices. She wonders around a bit until a voice calls out behind her.“Ma’am, this is a restricted area. The museum is closing you can come back tomorrow.” A male voice says stern.
“Oh excuse me I was just looking for some art to steal” The woman reacts turning around with a smile “Ready for our diner?”
“Please we don’t have art. This is an archeology museum” The man says smiling now “How are you doing Lydia?”
“Doing well” Lydia says pulling off her hoody, revealing her beautiful red hair and freckled face. “How is the big manager of the museum, mister Adam Koper?”
“I’m the assistant conservator” Adam replies as he embraces his friend “Do we have time for me to show you around the stuff that is not on display”
Lydia checks her watch and nods. Archeology or history might not have been her hobbies, but it was cool to look at some exclusive stuff. So Adam shows her around, old books, pots, swords and even cutlery.
“So have I ever mentioned that my house mate, Sally, is single?” Adam mentions as they move to a next room “And she is into ladies….perhaps even cute redheads.”
“Urghhh only a million times” Lydia groans as she rolls her eyes. “And she is not really my type. I am more of the rock and roll and she is rap. I am canoeing vacation in Scandinavia. She is eating and drinking on Bali. Also she is not really my…..shape…to put it nicely.”
“You are so picky” Adam says as he opens the door “Besides, Sally is barely overweight.”
“Dude” Lydia says in a calm voice “She is like 12 foot and 400 pounds. Compared to me that is huge. I am only 5 foot 3 and 110 pounds”
“You are such a snob. She is like 5’10’’ and only 183 pounds, which is like chubby for how tall she is” Adam reasons as they walk between the scaffolds. “And before you get weird idea’s. I know this because our scale has a memory function and she left it on.”
“Whatever you want creeper” Lydia teases. “Still, I prefer a fit partner. I mean I go running and watch what I eat, seems fair like my future wife will do the same”
“You are a picky eater and you run like twice a week. You probably have a fast metabolism” Adam reasons, receiving an indifferent ‘whatever’ as response “Now come over here this is the last thing I want to show you”
He opens a metallic door and in a cooled room he picks up a box. He takes another case out of the box and then slowly opens the lid revealing what is in there.
“It’s a ….stone” Lydia says confused “On a cord”
“It’s a 2000 year old medallion” Adam says a little insulted “2000 years!”
Lydia looks at the medallion. To her it really looks like a stone, it was round had some things written on it and had hole for the cord. Yet somehow the grey stone seemed to radiate something. She tilts her head and then reaches into the box.
“Hey! Don’t touch ……” Adam starts, but as soon Lydia touches it all sound fades away. Her body is frozen and she can only control her eyes. The room disappears, Adam disappears and only she with the medallion in hand are standing in the room. Then a fire starts, spreading around her in a circle. Still she can’t move, make a sound or do anything except look around. The medallion falls from her hand and bounces on the ink black floor. When it stops it seems to be melting in to a bright white pool. The pool ripples and from it a dark humanoid figure rises. The humanoid figure is tall and opens its eyes revealing them to be completely red. It turns its head to the side and reaches out with its hand. Droplets of the dark mass fall of its fingers as it reaches out towards Lydia. It touches her index finger and Lydia feels a sharp sting, yet she can still not react. A single droplet of blood forms on her finger. Growing bigger before slowly falling of her finger. As the droplet of blood touches the floor the darkness fades. The figure turns into smoke and the real world returns.
“that!” Adam finishes his sentence. He is immediately startled by Lydia’s extreme reaction “Sorry, Didn’t mean to scare you.”
“What the fuck just happened!?” Lydia says looking around the room breathing heavy. “What was that?”
“What?” Adam says startled also looking around “What happened”
“There was….That thing…it” Lydia starts she looks around and calms down a bit “I don’t know….I think…..maybe we should just go?”
“Yeah that is fine….maybe you had a bit of a panic attack” Adam comforts her putting the medallion back in its place “I used to have them as well… or perhaps you haven’t eaten for too long?”
Lydia makes a “I don’t know gesture” And together they leave the room.
“So how is the new job?” Adam asks as they sit in a small restaurant.
“Not too interesting, but it pays well and my colleagues are fine” Lydia answers pushing away her half eaten plate of pasta “Pffff I am stuffed.”
“That is also why you are so skinny” Adam teases “You don’t finish your plate like a big girl”
“You can put it in a doggy bag and feed it to your roommate” Lydia teases back “But seriously I just can’t eat any more than this.”
Afterwards they go see a movie. Adam tries to hit on a barmaid, gets rejected and finally they go home.
Lydia opens the door to her apartment and smiles.
“Home sweet home” She says kicking off her shoes.
The apartment was small. It had a kitchen/living room. One bedroom and a decent bathroom. It did over a nice few over the city, since it was on the twelfth floor. Her living room was decorated with one double seater couch, which could fold out for a sleeping couch. A table with three chairs and a slightly higher bar table near the kitchen. Near this table were two stools and beyond that was her kitchen. Lydia drinks some water and takes some carrots before making her way to her bed.
-later that night-
Lydia turns and moves as she dreams. Or rather she things that she is dreaming. She dreams about standing in her own bedroom, but it felt all too real. She feels like she can interact with things and walk around. Very unlike a real dream, this almost felt conscious.
“Lydia” an echoing disembodied voice calls out. “Lydia”
“W-who is there?!” Lydia calls out looking around her room.
“We are….Soul bound” The voice calls out “Lydia Grey….Soul bound”
“How do you know my name?” Lydia says scared “Show yourself coward!”
At that moment the same dark smoke that the humanoid figure had disappeared in, appears again.
“Lydia” The tall humanoid figure calls out as it steps out of the smoke. This time the figure slowly becomes more defined. The smoky round arms, turn into real arms. The pointy fingers turn into real human hands. Slowly, but surely the humanoid figure turns into an actual human. Lydia’s eyes are glued to the humanoids head as the smoke slowly rises. It reveals the face of a woman, with pitch black hair. Her pale face and closed eyes make it look like she is sleeping. Then she opens her eyes, revealing two red irises. The eyes look around until resting on Lydia, then her well-formed red lips curl into a smile. Even though Lydia was frightened she had to admit the woman was beautiful. Her glance slowly descends along the woman’s slender neck and rests on her chest. The woman had two plump, yet perky breasts. It was only now that Lydia realized the woman was not wearing any clothes. Lydia turns a bit red as she glances further at the woman. A perfect flat stomach, yet nice curvy hips. Firmly defined thighs, forming into smooth calves and slender feet. The woman was an absolute beauty. Tall, pretty and…..sexy.
“Who are you” Lydia asks astonished “….what are you?”
“My name….is Clio” The woman says blinking her pretty and oddly bright red eyes “And I am a Vigorem Liganes or Life binder. And you Lydia….you are my soul bound.”
“Vigore….what?” Lydia says confused “Soul bound?”
“Vigorem Liganes. Lydia Grey…..my soul bound” The woman disappears in smoke only to appear behind Lydia again. Frozen in fear Lydia stands still as the woman talks closely behind Lydia’s ear. “Now tell me Lydia…. What is it that you needed a soul bound for?”
“I-I ….what?” Lydia says in fear and confusion.
Clio disappears into smoke again and appears in front of Lydia. She bends over and looks Lydia in her eyes her face only an inch away from Lydia’s.
“Tell me Lydia Grey, do you seek power? Do you need to slay those who oppose you? Will we crush our enemies? End their lives and take their energy?” Clio says her glowing red eyes lighting up a bit. “Is it vengeance? Will we kill those who harmed us?”
“W-what?” Lydia says for the third time “Enemies? I don’t have enemies, certainly not that need slaying!”
Clio leans back now and runs her fingers along her chin.
“Is Lydia Grey in search of becoming even more beautiful? Are those who rival your looks about to meet their demise? Or did you soul bound for….lust?” Clio’s lips curl into a smile as Lydia reacts a little startled to that. Clio puts her hands underneath her firm bosom and lifts it slightly. “I have noticed your lingering eyes Lydia Grey, but would you not have been better off with a lust demon or something?”
Lydia turns darker red and is unsure on how to react to all of this. She understood nothing the woman…or thing in front of her was saying.
“You….have no idea….of what you are doing. Do you?” Clio asks turning the back of her nude form towards Lydia. “We are soul bound. So I can sense your strongest feelings, your inner most senses. Yet all I can feel from you is…..fear and confusion.”
“I have no idea of what you want from me” Lydia reacts “You must be with the wrong person.”
“No, Lydia Grey…you searched out for one of the ancient medallions. You are one of the few that is actually able to interact with this. Surely you must know that your blood line is capable of this? Besides, you allowed the medallion to be placed in your hand and did not try to remove any bonds afterwards.” Clio reasons turning around again “Even if it was a mistake you could have removed the bound with the ritual. I would have died and nothing would have happened, but you let the bound happen.”
“The medallion! That was an accident!” Lydia says firm now “I don’t know about any of this.”
Clio looks at her and steps closer again. She inspects Lydia then sighs.
“I guess that is just my luck. I can sense if you lie or not….and you are not lying” Clio sighs “So let me explain. We are now soul bound, for eternity. Most legendary warriors in history were soul bound. That is because a Vigorem Liganes can provide you with great strength. Or you can provide us with strength and we will fight for you. However we need energy, both of us. Because if I die, you die. If you die, I die. Luckily we can take that energy of your fallen enemies. All we have to do is kill every now and then”
“I don’t want to kill any one!” Lydia says disturbed, the short redhead steps away from Clio.
“But we have to, or we die” Clio says solemn “or there is one other way, but it will make the advantages of being soul bound significantly less.”
“Does it require me to kill?” Lydia asks suspicious with a raised eyebrow.
“No, but it links my energy directly to yours” Clio explains “meaning you will have to provide energy for the both of us.”
“If that is what it takes to not be a crazy murder” Lydia says making a fist “Then we will do that!”
“Then we will have to seal this way” Clio says red smoke swirling around her “Are you very sure about this? It cannot be undone.”
Clio extends her hand and Lydia looks at it.
“No crazy killing needed? No weird demon tricks?” Lydia asks, to witch Clio shakes her head “Then yes!”
Lydia shakes Clio’s hand and then smoke fills the room, after that Lydia can only remember darkness.
“What!? What was that?!” Lydia says awaking from her sleep with a shock. It was morning, no afternoon! She had slept for 12 hours! “That was the weirdest fucking dream.”
Lydia picks up her phone and texts Adam that the weird stone gave her nightmares. Adam texts back that it is a medallion. He adds to it later that he will add a lock to keep the scary “rock” away. Lydia sighs and puts her phone away.
“Better make some breakfast” Lydia says getting out of bed “I am starving”
She gets out of bed, puts on a wide falling size S shirt. Up next are some baggy jogging jeans and Lydia is comfortably dressed. She looks at her size 32, A cup bra. She wasn’t planning on going out till later so no need for that. She makes her way to her kitchen and starts preparing breakfast. Some coffee, dry toast and some fruit. She reaches for the toaster, but is startled as someone speaks up behind her.
“Good afternoon Lydia Grey” A familiar voice says. “Slept well?”
“What the fuck?!” Lydia says as she turns around with a butter knife in her hands. “You….it was….you are…..why are you naked?!”
Clio looks down at her own figure and then back to Lydia.
“Does this bother you?” She asks “I don’t own any clothing”
“It…just….it is immodest” Lydia says with a blush, she can’t help but glance at Clio’s figure “No wait! Am I still fucking dreaming?”
Lydia pinches herself and shakes her head.
“This is reality” Clio says “You can stop hurting yourself”
“This is….I am fucking losing my mind” Lydia mumbles to herself “Lets….first get you dressed”
Lydia wonders off to her bedroom, she looks over shoulder to see if Clio followed her. However Clio stood in the exact same place studying the layout of her apartment. Lydia takes out and old shirt, her other pair of jeans and tosses in some panties.
“Put this on” Lydia says, as she tosses the clothes down on a chair.
“As you command Lydia Grey” Clio says.
“And stop that Lydia Grey stuff” Lydia says agitated as she watches the black haired woman grab the shirt.
“Master Grey?” Clio asks “commander Grey?”
“Lydia….just Lydia” Lydia sighs.
Lydia stares at Clio as she gets dressed. The shirt is stretched over Clio’s much larger breasts and Clio was also much taller than Lydia, turning it into a top. Lydia’s hips were narrow and boney, Clio was much curvier, making the panties look more like a thong. The baggy jeans were good enough, was it not that they came to just half way Clio’s calves. Lydia realizes that Clio was probably around 5’10 a good seven inches taller than her.
“That looks….alright for now” Lydia says trying to hide her quick glance at Clio’s breasts “Now we will go over all of this bullshit one more time.”
Lydia had sat down listing to Clio explain once, twice and eventually three times. Lydia eventually shakes her head.
“What does that even mean? Linked our energy?” Lydia asks confused. “I have to provide energy for us both? How?”
“Well how do humans get their energy?” Clio asks rhetorically “By consuming. So whatever you eat or drink will be provided as energy to me too”
“Is that why I am still a bit hungry after breakfast?” Lydia asks rubbing her flat tummy. “Are you like a tape worm demon or what?”
“I’m not a demon, but it is why you are still hungry” Clio says “It is also why you need to eat a bit more.”
“I guess I could go for an apple or something” Lydia says looking at her kitchen.
Clio walks over and checks the cabinets and fridge.
“Why not go for something with more energy?” Clio asks as she grabs a chocolate bar “Like this, I can sense that you enjoy chocolate.”
“Because it has a buck load of calories?” Lydia says, suddenly feeling a strong urge to have some chocolate “But since we will share our energy….I will have a little bit, but also bring an apple.”
“I am stuffed!” Lydia says leaning back and rubbing her slightly rounder tummy. “Seriously though understand that I don’t drink coffee with creamer and sugar. I drink it black. And don’t expect me to eat like this more often. I might gain weight!”
Lydia laughs and Clio laughs along. Lydia had eaten half the chocolate bar, three slices of bread more with honey and Clio had added sugar and creamer to Lydia’s coffee. Clio didn’t understand why Lydia didn’t like high calorie food. Wasn’t she the one that chose this bound over becoming a legendary warrior? Meanwhile Lydia had a weird feeling about Clio. Even though they only just met she felt like she and Clio have known each other for a long time already. Was this the effect of that weird soul bounding?
“It is time to consume lunch” Clio says the minute the clock goes past 12. “I recommend meats, potatoes and diary drinks”
“Yeah…..no” Lydia says “First of all, I have to go to the store. Second of all you are going to make me fat for real”
“Why are you so afraid of gaining some weight?” Clio asks puzzled “It will keep you warmer in the cold and since you didn’t chose a warrior path the reduction in agility will not affect your chances of survival. Next to this might it aid in getting more feminine curves and some bigger breasts”
“Did I just get called flat chested by a fucking demon!?” Lydia says stunned and agitated. “We can’t all have massive triple D tits!”
“I apologize, I had no intend to insult you Lydia” Clio responds “But I have been noticing you staring at my chest a few times already, so I assumed you were jealous. I do want to notify you that I am in fact not a demon.”
“Whatever you say” Lydia says agitated “I am going to get dressed and go to the stores. You stay here.”
“That is impossible” Clio answers “We cannot be separated. I can turn to inside your soul I will be invisible to the rest of the world, but as close as possible to you”
Lydia blinks in disbelieve before going to her room.
“This is a fucking joke” Lydia says grumpy “and how the fuck am I hungry already?”
Behind Lydia a tall black haired woman in ill-fitting clothing was walking. They were getting looks from people, guys and other women. Clio in the meanwhile seemed oblivious to this attention. She was only focused on two things. The first was watching over Lydia, the second was scouting for food.
“Lydia is putting herself in a lot of danger with this low energy diet” Clio thinks “if one of sisters finds us…. No WHEN one of my sisters finds us, we will be no match!”
Clio scans around before spotting a food truck selling bagels.
“Perhaps I have to persuade my master slightly” Clio thinks as focuses some of her inner strength “Just to give her a push in the right direction. I will use my forceful thought.”
*Bacon Bagels!*
Lydia shakes her head and then immediately notices the food truck. She suddenly had huge craving for a bagel. She walks up and smells the food and actually orders a steak, egg and cheese bagel. She is a bit surprised with herself since she has never ordered anything like that before and especially not at a food truck. Suddenly another wave of an urge hits her.
*Hunger!*
“Actually make it two” Lydia says, immediately regretting ordering two of the calorie bombs.
“And now for a final trick” Clio thinks as she focuses on the vendor. “time for some help for Lydia”
“Sure thing ma’am” The vendor says “Second one is actually on the house”
Under influence of Clio the vendor makes the bagels with extra cheese and extra bacon. Clio scans the ingredients and estimates the sizes as she thinks of all the foods she studied while Lydia was asleep. Clio estimates that the bag that Lydia accepted contained about 1400 calories of energy. Now all she had to do was make sure Lydia ate them and that Lydia then went shopping for a high energy dinner.
“God….I am stuffed….again” Lydia says slightly blushing as she stifles a burp “I ate till my stomach hurts. Is this all because of you?”
Lydia cradles her slightly bloated tummy and looks at Clio. Clio raises her shoulders in faked innocence. Lydia then notices an old man staring down at Clio’s figure and suddenly Lydia felt sorry. She had to take care of Clio, wither she liked it or not.
“Shall we go shopping?” Lydia suggest “To get some actually decent clothes for you?”
“Clothing shopping for me?” Clio asked confused “You actually care about me?”
“w-what? Yeah sure… I mean whatever… we are soul bound and stuff…”Lydia fumbles for words. “Besides you are stretching my shirts.”
Clio smiles a cute smile and for a second Lydia actually couldn’t help, but smile back. She shook her head and stood up from the bench were she ate her lunch.
“Let’s go” She says as she walks towards the mall “Can’t afford to expansive stuff tough.”
Clio stood up and felt contend, she liked that Lydia was a caring person.
They ended up buying three sets of clothing for Clio, some jeans in her own size and to Lydia’s envy 32 E cup bra’s. Thankfully they received a special discount making it all much more affordable. Then they went to a supermarket were they bought dinner. For some reason Lydia felt like spoiling herself and she bought some hamburgers, some beers and box of fancy chocolates. Too late had Lydia realized that the clerk had somehow not scanned the fancy chocolates, but they were already home. Clio wanted to cook the food for her, but Lydia insisted on cooking for herself.
“At least let me clean and do the dishes” Clio asked, almost pleading “It is the least I can do for someone who so kindly provided clothing”
“Alright, deal” Lydia says smirking, she could get used to having a household demon. That night before going to bed Clio makes them both a sandwich, but it turns out both of them were meant for Lydia. Apparently Clio does not eat. Lydia only eats one sandwich, to Clio’s disappointment and then goes to bed. She tells Clio that she can sleep on the couch. That night Lydia has a weird dream again. Being in some sort of space between reality and another world. She vaguely remembers dreaming about Clio as well, but when she wakes up she can’t remember anything sharp anymore.
-after the weekend-
Lydia groans as her alarm clock rings, she slaps the snooze button and five minutes later wakes up feeling even more tired.
“Good morning Lydia” Clio says, startling Lydia.
“What …fuc…” Lydia reacts startled to find Clio standing at the end of her bed. “Clio! I told you, you can sleep on the couch. However, you can’t just barge in here like that. Can you imagine that it scares me when I wake up and the first thing I see is the demon that got linked to me?”
“Technically I don’t really sleep and I am not a demon” Clio explains “Demons are pure evil creatures that taunt innocent people. I am linked to you, you did something to summon me. Also I have no intentions of harming you, since what is bad for you is bad for me.”
“Whatever” Lydia groans putting the pillow on her own head “Just tell me why you are here?”
“I made breakfast for you” Clio says simple. “Eggs and toast”
“And bacon” Lydia says as she smells the air “Never really in the mood for that greasy meat, but today….I think I am. Somehow….”
Lydia gets out of bed and gets dressed. She sits down at breakfast and is marveled by how good it smells, but also by how professionally it is all presented.
“Never thought a demon would be able to cook like this” Lydia says taking a sip from her coffee, there was sugar and creamer in it again. However, she didn’t feel like scolding Clio over such a small thing.
“Actually I am not a …” Clio says starts, but shakes her head as Lydia starts her breakfast “Never mind… I learned how to cook in school. Where I am from we are prepared to defend and take care of our linked soul. Like you providing me with clothing and, although unnecessary, a place to sleep.”
“School? Like how old are you actually Clio?” Lydia says as she takes a bite of her food. “Wow, this is delicious!”
“22, Same age as you Lydia. Exactly the same in fact. You can only be linked with someone born on the same day as you” Clio explains “And thank you, I try my best at making something you would enjoy.”
That morning Clio and Lydia chat and it was actually quite enjoyably. Lydia felt like she was sharing a room with a foreign exchange student, one that was good at cooking too. With a full stomach Lydia prepares for work, while Clio cleans up. Clio makes a short estimation normally Lydia would have eaten yogurt with granola, which would be about 150 calories and barely 2 grams of fat. Now Lydia, with some enchanting help from Clio, ate over 1150 calories with over 50 grams of fat.
“Now all I have to do is make sure Lydia eats well during the day” Clio thinks “That we way we will have more available energy. I will grow stronger to protect her from my siblings.”
Later that morning is the subway gently rocking its passengers on its way to the next station.
“I told you that you can’t come into the building, right?” Lydia says to Clio, who is sitting next to her. “And I am not sure about this whole ‘turning inside my soul’ stuff. Sounds creepy and people will think I am crazy when you talk to me.”
“I know Lydia, but like I explained. For now it is not possible for us to be separated, so either I have to be in the building next to you or turn invisible by going inside our soul.”
“I work on the 40th floor of freaking skyscraper” Lydia sighs “There is no building next door.”
“Then I will turn inside and be quiet if that is what you wish” Clio says “Or I have to be able to stay near you”
The metro stops and it gets busier.
“The good news is that as we go stronger we can go further and further apart” Clio says in a comforting way. Her sunny remark not reflected in Lydia’s long face. “So the more we grow, the better things will get.”
A bit later Lydia arrives at her stop, she gets off and goes to her office. She worked at a small financial regulation company which rented one of the floors in the skyscraper. Clio had disappeared yet she could feel her presence near.
“Hello Lydia” A woman at the reception on her floor says “There are donuts in the coffee room if you want to have one”
“Good morning Carol” Lydia says kind “Maybe later, got to watch my figure”
Both women laugh as Lydia pats her flat tummy and huffs. Carol was significantly heavier than most women in Lydia’s office. There were some other heavier or chubby women, but Carol was quite fat. Rumor had it that she weighed over 290 pounds. Rumors spread by Jen one of Lydia’s direct colleagues. Lydia enters her office room that she shares with three other people, three other women in fact. Jen was one of the women. Another one was the chubby and slightly older Ann. Who, according to Jen, used to be skinny, gained quite some weight after an injury. Out of shape and kept busy by business life the pounds stayed on and she slowly kept gaining weight. This is the reason that Ann is on a new diet every month. With Ann they didn’t have to guess about her weight, because having weight goals is part of whatever whacky diet she was on right now. Ann weighs 175 pounds. The last women was a work friend from Lydia called Jolene. Jolene was overly sporty and had a new adventure every weekend. Lydia went with her some times, but had trouble keeping up with the overly active Jolene. Lydia had a work crush on Jolene, but kept things professional. As Lydia enters only Jen is sitting there.
“Morning Lyd” Jen says not looking up from her screen. Lydia hated that nickname “Did you see the office cow bringing in donuts? Bet that is going to ruin Ann’s new diet”
Lydia laughs awkwardly since Jen made it sound like a joke, but in reality it was obvious that Jen meant what she said. Even worse it was like she felt good about pointing it out. Jen and Lydia chat a bit while Lydia starts her work. One by one her colleagues walk in and the day gets going.
Halfway through the morning Lydia gets up and walks to the coffee machine. She waves at Carol and enters the deserted coffee room. There on the table was a large box that used to contain a double dozen different type of donuts. Now only twelve of them remained. Lydia smiles and puts her mug under the coffee machine.
“I wonder how many Carol actually ate?” Lydia thinks “Or poor Ann, it is so unfair all this temptation around her”
Then Lydia grasps her tummy as a wave of an urge came over her.
Hunger!
Suddenly an craving for donuts came over Lydia. She looked around the room, which was still empty and took one. Lydia devoured the donut like she hadn’t eaten in a week.
More!
While heavily breathing through her nose because of her stuffed mouth Lydia grabs another donut and crams it in just as fast. Finally Lydia comes back to her senses and grabs a final donut, but eating it more casual.
“What the fuck just came over me?” Lydia whispers, suddenly she feels Clio’s presence stronger “Clio did you do something to me?”
No answer.
“Clio?” Lydia says stern.
Lydia is startled when from the shadow cast by a large closet Clio appears, dressed in the same outfit as that morning.
“Don’t think I did anything” Clio says innocent “But you are hungry for both of us.”
“You don’t think you did something? It’s a yes or no quest--” Lydia says, but is cut short by someone entering. It was the owner of the company, Henry Wit “Mister Wit”
Lydia says, but notices mister the Wit staring at Clio.
“T-this is Clio…..Clio….Black” Lydia says looking at Clio’s black hair “She is ….a friend of mine….she visited, because she is interested in working….here”
Clio catches on and extends her hand.
“Clio Black” she says.
“What an extraordinary name” Mister the Wit says, obviously checking out Clio’s figure. “If you are interested in working here, contact my assistant. We could always use young talent. Where does a name like Clio come from?”
“It is ancient Greek for glory” Clio says proud “Since I am expected to bring glory.”
Mister Wit laughs too loud and exacerbated, he makes some small talk takes a donut and a cup of coffee and leaves again.
“He is such a fucking pervert” Lydia says annoyed “Any way, just get out of here. Disappear again or something”
“As you wish” Clio says as she disappears in smoke, which in turn just seems to melt into the surroundings.
Lydia sighs and walks back to her office.
“Careful with those donuts” Jen says in her fake joking voice as Lydia walks back in “You will be an office fatty soon if you eat too many of those ”
“Yeah, I know” Lydia says laughing it off, she had forgotten she carried the donut “I forgot breakfast this morning.”
Lydia eats the donut with her coffee. The taste of it somehow seemed better today. During lunch Lydia ate outside the office with Jolene and then ate a second smaller lunch at the canteen of the skyscraper building. After arriving home exhausted Lydia gets a nice, but filling, meal from Clio. Later that evening she eats from a bag of chips, somehow managing to finish half of the bag.
“Weird, I am never much of snack person” Lydia thinks as she puts the bag away “ah well, once doesn’t matter.”
Lydia goes to bed that night and Clio makes up the balance 4900 calories in one day. Now those were proper energy levels.
-Two weeks later-
It was weekend again and Lydia woke immediately smelling her breakfast. Things had gotten pretty standard, but Lydia still felt lucky for Clio’s cooking. Lydia stretched and turned to her side one more time before getting out of bed. She prepares her clothes and hair while she hears pans clatter in the kitchen.
“a household demon that can cook” Lydia thinks as she pulls up her jeans. “And she is not bad to look at as well.”
A naughty smile appears on Lydia’s face as she thinks of Clio’s appearance. She does the last few hops to get her skinny jeans over her hips. Did they seem tighter? No, these were just snug skinny jeans. They are supposed to be a bit of struggle, but they look so good. The average eye and Lydia herself did not notice any differences about her appearance. However, a closer inspection would reveal just the slightest eroding of sharper futures including a small bit of adipose buildup on her flat tummy. She enters her living room and sees Clio turning around in the kitchen. The black and white apron she was wearing perfectly accentuated her curves. Then again with a figure like Clio anything pretty much looks amazing.
“Good morning Lydia” Clio says friendly grabbing a plate “I made you breakfast. You look nice today”
“Thanks” Lydia says smiling, but her smile fades as she sees her breakfast. It were four sausage, egg and cheese breakfast muffins “What is this? Isn’t this way too greasy for a breakfast?”
“It is not that bad” Clio says “Just try it”
A wave of having the urge to eat comes over Lydia. It is only now that she realizes she is really hungry. Clio smiled as her ‘silver tongue’ ability worked, it made what she said seem extra favorable or even seductive.
“I guess one won’t matter” Lydia says as she gets started on the greasy breakfast meal “I’m going running anyway, this afternoon.”
Lydia ended up eating three of the greasy ‘muffins’ and Clio happily concluded that, that provided Lydia with over 1600 calories. A wonderful cycle had started. The more Clio used her silver tongue the more Lydia ate, the more Lydia ate the more energy Clio had to use her silver tongue more often. The more often she used her silver tongue the more Lydia ate. After resting for too long Lydia still decides to go for a run in the park. Lydia was now doing her warming up, but was a bit distracted by Clio just watching her and waiting for her. Clio had insisted on coming along and had a made shift sports bra. It was actually a spandex top of Lydia, which was too small for Clio’s chest.
“Are you fit Clio?” Lydia asks as she stretches her arms “Do demons workout? Or go to demon yoga?”
“I am not a demon” Clio says correcting Lydia while holding up her finger “But I am indeed in good condition. Vigorem Liganes, which is what I am and not a demon, are trained for harsh combat or terrain conditions. Our muscles also deteriorate 100 times slower than humans, so it is pretty tough to get out of shape in fact. However we train regularly to keep fit and increase or stamina and strength ”
“That must be fantastic” Lydia says “No wonder you look so great”
“So you do like my appearance” Clio says confused “Why are you actually running? I thought you didn’t want to be a warrior.”
“I don’t want to be a warrior” Lydia says “But I also don’t want to be a fatty.”
Lydia winks and starts jogging, Clio keeps up with her with ease. Clio frowns slightly as she thinks about the situation.
“This way Lydia is burning energy without reason” Clio thinks as she looks at the short woman next to her with a concerned look. “And with less energy I can’t protect her. Lydia shouldn’t waste energy if she doesn’t want to train to fight. Lydia should consume and conserve as much energy as possible. Make sure that trough her body that energy is available for them. Whether that is currently consumed energy or….otherwise stored energy didn’t matter, but if her siblings find them she is going to need a lot of that energy.”
Clio falls back a little, bit clutches her hands and her red irises start to shine slightly.
“Sorry Lydia, but I have to protect you” Clio whispers to herself as she looks at Lydia’s bright red pony tail bounce up and down. Clio releases her hands and ten steps later Lydia stops and feels the back of her upper leg.
“Ai! I think I pulled a muscle” Lydia says feeling her leg “No wait it seems fine as I walk slowly”
Lydia speeds up again, but makes the same pained expression.
“Well that is a bit of disappointment” Lydia says “Sorry Clio, I guess that was it for today.”
“No worries” Clio responds “I just care that you are alright. Your safety is the most important thing there is to me.”
Hunger!
Lydia smiles until she feels her stomach rumble. God was she already hungry again?
“I guess we might as well go home and do some grocery shopping” Lydia says “I am actually quite hungry again.”
“Then let’s go home” Clio says caring “And I will prepare you lunch.”
-Three weeks later-
“Clio” Lydia calls from her bedroom “can you come in here for a bit?”
“Sure thing” Clio says as she walks to the bedroom with her cooking apron still on. “I made you breakfast”
“I know you did, you’ve been doing that the past five weeks now” Lydia answers, smelling the waffles Clio made as breakfast. “It is exactly why I need to talk to you.”
Clio enters to find Lydia in her pajama top and panties. On the floor was a pair of skinny jeans.
“There is no easy way to say this so I will just say this” Lydia says folding her hands and taking a deep breath “Clio, I love your cooking and I appreciate you making all meals, but we can’t go on like this”
“What do you mean?” Clio asks confused.
“These jeans are my size 0- petite skinny jeans” Lydia says “This morning I tried to get them on, but was unable to fasten the button.”
“perhaps they shrunk in the wash?” Clio says innocent.
“No Clio you are not getting it….they didn’t fit, because…..because” Lydia blushes and takes a deep breath again “because I am getting fat!...Your cooking is making me fat!”
“Lydia. You don’t look fat at all” Clio says “In fact I am pretty sure I am still heavier”
“You are also much taller” Lydia says agitated “I just notice it alright. My clothes feel tighter. There is more softness to me. There is some fat on my tummy now. That was never there…..In fact I will proof it!”
Lydia walks to her closet and gets out an digital scale.
“Last time I weighed myself I was around 110 pounds” Lydia says as she puts the scale down and activates it. “Now I am at…”
The scale beeps and Lydia reads out the display.
“121 point 1 !?” Lydia says shocked “Clio don’t you understand? I gained over ten freaking pounds because you cook unhealthy!”
“You don’t like my cooking?” Clio says a bit insulted.
“No it is not that…it is just that it is too much and why too high in calories and fats” Lydia says apologetic “Can’t you cook healthier? And I will just eat less then as well.”
“I have to cook high in energy or we both perish. Low calorie food will be our demise” Clio says solemn “but you can try to eat less and workout more?”
“Then that is what we will do” Lydia says determined “Thanks Clio”
Lydia embraces the tall black haired woman, who reacts to it in an awkward way. Clio wasn’t used to affection. Clio looks down at the short redhead girl and puts her hand on her head. She was even more determined to protect Lydia now. Even if that meant she had to lie to Lydia until the importance of energy was clear to her, than that was what she would do. Clio sighs as she realizes that there was no way she could allow Lydia to eat less or waste the eaten energy on working out. In fact it would be better if Lydia relaxed and ate as much as possible. Clio waited for Lydia to finish one of the waffles she made and then used her powers.
Amnesia!
Hunger!
Lydia immediately took the next waffle and this cycle continued till Lydia was stuffed with high sugar waffles. Clio used her next trick to make Lydia less aware of how stuffed she was.
Later that day Lydia was relaxing on the couch after eating a mashed potato lunch. Clio walks in to the living room looking at the scale.
“How does this thing work actually?” She says “All your worrying made me realize that we Vigorems don’t weigh ourselves. What if I am actually fat?”
Lydia looks confused at Clio, but sees the tall woman’s insecure look. Then she bursts into a laughter, making Clio react in surprised way.
“First of all Clio you are not fat, you are beautiful” Lydia says getting up from the couch “Now put that thing down and I will show you.”
Clio puts the scale down and Lydia turns it she taps it with her foot and then pushes Clio on to it. The scale bleeps and shows Clio’s weight of 162.4 pounds.
“See I told you that I am a lot heavier than you” Clio says while giving Lydia a serious look.
“Wait here” Lydia says ignoring Clio’s remark. She grabs a measuring tape and tells Clio to hold it a the top of her head “Damn you are tall. 5’11’’ ! almost six feet.”
Lydia grabs her phone and goes to a weight loss app.
“So you are not fat at all, you are just tall and curvy and quite strong actually. Look if we put your height and weight in here we get your BMI, basically a number that indicates whether your weight is healthy or not” Lydia explains as she types “See you have a BMI of 22.6, that is close to perfect!”
“That is a relief, what is yours?” Clio asks.
Lydia makes a disgruntled face, but types in her numbers anyway.
“I’m only 5’3’’ and now 121 pounds….thanks to someone’s cooking” Lydia murmurs “21.4”
“So….also close to perfect?” Clio says “Then why do you want to lose weight?”
“I….I just….” Lydia tries to find the words “Let’s just put it like this… I don’t want to get any heavier, because if my weight keeps going up… I get fat eventually.”
Clio nods understandingly, but inside she still didn’t know why Lydia tried keeping a warriors weight, if she wasn’t going to fight.
-two weeks later-
“I don’t even remember bringing chocolate to work” Lydia says to herself as she stands in the breakroom of her work “But god am I glad I did. I am craving some chocolate right now”
Bite fore bite the chocolate bar disappears in her tummy. A wave of guilt and pleasure wash over her. Guilty because she is supposed to be on a diet. Pleasure because she can’t remember ever enjoying chocolate this much. She wipes her fingers clean and goes to get some coffee. Without paying attention she presses the extra sugar and extra cream button and the machine gets to work.
“The world will never know I just devoured an entire chocolate bar.” Lydia thinks guilty as she gets rid of the wrapper.
Just in time, because Jen walks in.
“Hey Lydi” She says leaning against the wall while the machine does its work “Say, I have been wanting to ask something”
Lydia takes her cup and waits for Jen to talk. Jen presses for a cup of tea and waits for a bit.
“Is it just me or….do you seem a bit fuller lately?” Jen gives her a smile, like that would make it less awkward. “Like, maybe your holding some winter weight or are you trying some…new style?”
“W-what?” Lydia stutters “No! Jen….you are being silly!”
Lydia adjusts her too tight shirt and heads for the hallway.
“Anyway gotta go, mister Wit is waiting for me” Lydia says as she makes a quick exit, whispering the last word under her breath “bitch”
Lydia walks to mister Wit his office and sits down. A minute later their meeting begins.
“So I have good news for your friend” Mister Wit says near the end of their meeting “We are looking to hire someone in a month of two. Ask her to contact me and we will see if she makes the job”
“w-what?” Lydia asks stunned “Oh, right. My friend. Clio. You remembered her”
Lydia laughs, but inside she feels a bit angry. Of course mister Wit remembered Clio, he has a reputation for hiring women for their looks. They schedule an appointment and mister Wit says he is sure Clio will do well if she can build on Lydia’s reputation. Lydia smiles friendly again, but feels conflicted on the inside. Bringing a demon or whatever to work seemed like a bad idea, but this would solve the problem of Clio having to go within their soul.
-Two weeks later-
There was a small, but growing, pile of clothing behind Lydia’s closet in the corner of her room. There were two size 0 skinny jeans and a size 2 skinny jeans. Last added to it was a shirt which Lydia didn’t like anymore, mostly because it slowly rode up the edge of her tummy. Lydia had just gotten dressed and walked into the living room. She was greeted by the smell of meat, frying in the pan.
“Clio do you know what these are?” Lydia says pointing to the pants she was wearing.
“Pants?” Clio says confused “Or jeans?”
“They are the biggest pair of jeans that I own. I once got them because of a mix up at the company I ordered from” Lydia says “They are a size 5-small and they fit! They fit Clio! I fit into my fat pants!”
“Congratulations?” Clio says still confused. “You can finally use them.”
“No! Not congratulations. Don’t you understand? All that food of yours is making me gain weight!” Lydia pats her tummy and gives Clio a serious look. “I’m starting to develop a belly!”
Lydia lifts her shirt and reveals her tummy. Lydia’s ribs had become less visible and there was now a pouch of fat on her midsection. The differences were minimal, but indeed her figure had gotten slightly fuller.
“Lydia don’t be ridiculous you look really Cute” Clio says as Lydia blushes and puts her shirt back down “If anything, those one or two pounds extra make you look better. Healthier and prettier than ever.”
Hunger!
“Now come sit down” Clio says as she turns to her pan again “I made you breakfast”
“Alright….I guess I am really hungry for some reason” Lydia says rubbing her stomach after feeling a hanger pang “But honestly Clio, we have to find a way to keep me from gaining anymore weight. You don’t want your soul link to be a fatty right?”
“Of course not” Clio says monotone as she starts stacking the greasy pork sausages from the pan “But for now, let’s just eat.”
Clio felt slightly guilty at manipulating Lydia. Lydia has been very kind so far, much kinder than Clio was told humans would be. However, because of this kindness she had to help Lydia provide energy for them. Even if that did meant Lydia had to increase in size a bit…. Or ….a lot.
-four weeks later-
Tomorrow Clio would go to Lydia’s work, but right now Lydia was showing one of her favorite shows to Clio and Clio had done her best to laugh at the right times. Clio had also put a pint of ice cream on the coffee table. Which Lydia said she didn’t want, but suddenly felt a craving for anyway. Now she was casually spooning some ice cream from time to time and then putting the pint back on the table. All in all it was an enjoyable time.
“I can’t believe they have 0 calorie ice cream” Lydia says “and it tastes amazing!”
Two spoons full of, sugary definitely not 0-calorie, ice cream enter Lydia’s mouth and she smiles. Clio smiles, she was happy at how much Lydia was enjoying herself. If Lydia was happy, she was happy. Added to that was that the pint of ice cream and the two glasses of wine Lydia poured herself provided them with a 650 calorie boost.
“Wine and ice cream on a Sunday evening. Does it get any better?” She says happily “Do you not regret never having to eat or drink? I mean it can be nice as well.”
“Well you can’t really miss what you never experienced” Clio says “But I can sense your happiness, which makes me happy.”
“Well than this one is for you” Lydia says as she spoons another spoonful of Ice cream in her mouth. “You know at first I was terrified of being linked to you, but I have started liking you more and more.”
More ice cream and Lydia smiles at Clio as she waits for her mouth to be empty.
“So I was thinking. Maybe you are not my personal demon, but my personal angel…friend thing. Though I like the term my little demon better.” Lydia laughs a tipsy laugh looks Clio up and down. “Not to mention they did link me with a smoking hot one.”
Lydia laughs and snorts.
“sorry, tipsy lesbian talk” She says waving at Clio “Anyway. I am going to bed.”
“No need to worry. I have taken a liking to you too Lydia” Clio says kind “But don’t you want to Finish your ice cream first?”
Lydia looks at the tub and raises her shoulders.
“you are right” She says spooning more ice cream again “Might as well finish it.”
That night Lydia finishes another glass of wine, the ice cream and Clio provides her with a cookie. At the end Lydia is falling asleep on the couch. She remembers being effortlessly picked up by Clio who brings her to bed. Clio looks at the smiling redhead and felt a weird feeling. A flustering on her cheeks, a raise of her heartbeat? Like she was going to fight? Or perhaps…something else?
The next morning Clio provided Lydia with a high calorie, high sugar breakfast and they went to Lydia’s work. There Clio had a job interview and surprise, surprise mister Wit hired the big breasted, tall and beautiful raven haired woman. Clio’s tasks would be basically being a receptionist for mister Wit. Except that she had no experience doing so.
“Want to go get lunch?” Clio asks half an hour early for lunch.
“Eh sure” Lydia says raising her shoulders. She asks her other collogues, but non want to go out yet.
They walk to a sandwich shop nearby and order. Clio orders their sandwiches or actually Lydia’s sandwiches, because Clio doesn’t eat. Clio gets Lydia an ham and molten cheese sandwich with double toppings. When there orders comes the server tells them its free double up day so they get a second sandwich for free. Lydia ended up eating both sandwiches pushing her lunch up to almost 1900 calories. To add some more calories and sugars Clio also insisted on buying a fruit smoothie, because they are ‘healthy’
“Clio” Lydia says thought “We have a serious problem”
“hmmm?” Clio hums concerned.
“I have come to accept that …I might….have gained some….weight” Lydia says blushing “But that you are also right, that as long as I am healthy that it is fine. However, I will have to buy some new clothes so this weekend we are going shopping”
“I thought you liked shopping?” Clio asks confused.
“I do” Lydia sighs “Just not …bigger ones”
Clio nods understandingly, but inside does not know why it matters what size clothing you buy determines the fun.
That Saturday they are on the subway back from the mall. It was quiet and they were one of the only people. Lydia looks at her bag of clothing and sighs as she sees the size tag. She had bought size medium clothing, even a size 12 medium. They had also bought Clio some clothing for the upcoming spring. Buying clothes for Clio was like dressing up a doll for Lydia. Clio had no sense of what looked good, so Lydia just told her what to try and how to wear it. Clio looked in her bag as well and Lydia saw a smile on her pretty face. Then Lydia feels a rumble in her midsection and folds over with a blush.
“Hungry?” Clio asks a little surprised. She truly had nothing to do with Lydia's hunger on this occasion. Something like this had never happened prior. “I can make you some pasta when we are home”
“That would be nice” Lydia says her blush not fading. “Say Clio…..where you are from…How do people look at …heavier women?”
“Well in my culture everyone is very warrior focused. So muscles and physical fitness are the dominant features. To be honest where I am from there are no overweight women.” Clio says looking at Lydia staring into her bag. A sly smile comes onto Clio’s face and she makes her voice slightly silkier. “However, I think it is pretty if a woman is softer… curvier I think it looks good…makes them….cute? I guess?”
Now Clio has a slight blush on her face as she surprised herself with what she said.
“Perhaps that is why I never really fitted in” Clio mumbles the last sentence as she thinks about where she was from.
“You didn’t fit in!?” Lydia blurts out “You are tall, strong and gorgeous”
“Yeah…but it is not the person on the outside that they care about…it is who you are as a person” Clio says giving a faint smile as she looks at Lydia “Like you, regardless of your looks, you are a kind and caring person. It doesn’t matter if you are bigger or not I like you as person Lydia.”
Lydia smiles humble until Clio ruins the moment.
“I mean! I-I am not saying you are fat! You know… well you did gain weight, but that is fine! I just ….it looks good on you, but I would be lying to you if we acted like you didn’t gain weight, but you are not fat at all!....just fatter than before. No that sounds worse….I-I ….you ….” Clio stumbles for words as she messes up further and further. Her face turns red as she continues to fix her ramble. “I mean who doesn’t gain weight? Well I didn’t, but …you did? No what I am trying to say is…..You look cute Lydia!”
Clio stops her rambling and feels her heart race as Lydia puts her hand on Clio’s.
“It’s OK Clio. I understood what you said earlier” Lydia says calm looking Clio in her red irises “When you are blushing like that… you are cute too”
Again Clio feels her heart beat harder.
“Now please, stop talking about my weight” Lydia says vexed “Just tell me about the pasta you are going to cook.”
Clio smiles and happily tells Lydia about the dish she was going to prepare. That evening Lydia ate 1650 calories of pasta. Which Clio made with bacon, a creamy sauce of high fat creamer, added honey and lots of cheese. Throughout the evening Clio makes sure Lydia eats her dessert of a quarter cheesecake. Adding another 1500 calories to that day.

I don't like magic weight gain and to be honest the way Clio manipulates is inspired by WaxerRed his game. Clio was supposed to be a bit of a random name, but I accidentally named her after the muse of History. For the part about Lydia, the energy is always available to Clio and only combat would cause fatigue. I will try to write a bit about how Clio adapts to our world, but of course the story is still weight gain focused. For Clio's sisters I am afraid you have to wait till the next chapters to figure out what they are like

I like the premise! It is creative and unique. I like Clio's crazy warrior culture vibe, tho sometimes she feels more modern human than otherwise. Also, I would definitely get sick of having another person standing around watching me all the time. :j great job overall, I'm looking forward to next installment!
