Taken in Branford, outside New Haven, CT.The evening we arrived there it was a thunderstorm. We went down to the beach to look at the bolts and I tried to capture one on a photo... It wasn't very easy... I hadn't managed it, but before we went back I tried agan, and this time I was lucky

Thank you! Actually I was quite lucky with this shot, it was before I got a dslr (which would have made things easier) and all I had was a small compact camera. I just took pictures randomly and was lucky enough to get one shot of the lightnings

im actualy looking at getting a dslr camera pretty soon too i was looking at the Nikon D3100 i need a manual digital camera any suggestions or is this a good one to get and your photo is now the background of my laptop too if thats ok with you
