figured i'd post an updated version of the time warp drawing i did back in 2009... seeing as i'm in a new phase of life now!original meme template here - Do The Time Warp
and here's my short life story again for anyone who's curious:
my family moved around a lot because my dad had a job with the dutch embassy. born in dordrecht (holland), moved to virginia when i was 4, moved to jakarta (indonesia) when i was 8, moved to paris when i was 11, moved to brussels when i was 15, went to gent (belgium) for college for 1 year, then moved to hilversum (holland) to study at the utrecht school of the arts, moved to utrecht in 2009, and have lived there ever since! i've been a freelance artist ever since graduating that same year. and no, i don't speak a lot of languages unfortunately - i suck at languages and i went to international school where classes were taught in english, so i'm bilingual english/dutch!

We had a very similar "dressing like a tent" phase lol. Except it sort of merged back into an 'awkward' phase in my mid 20's and now in my 30's I'm just...yeah...XD I love your progression though. Very nice. Congrats on your relationship, too!

it's amazing! took me a lot of episodes to get into it but it amazed me, how they dealt with these complicated issues.

It was fantastic. I've watched and re-watched it since I was 9, and I've had a crush on Kara Thrace for most of that time as well. No one I'm close to has watched it (least of all entirely) so it's easy to forget that hey, other people enjoyed that series too! I get really excited when I find out other people have seen it.
It got even harder to rewatch after Netflix removed it from their streaming service... :c

I love that you kept the originals from your first one. You can just see the little changes and differences in your last one. Lines, use of colors, etc. Some are subtle, not noticeable.
I just love how different every part of your life was. It's fun to see someone grow up like this.
And I'm almost 27, and I feel you about those grey hairs. I have one or two in my bangs and I just gave up. LoL. My goal is to be one of those old ladies with awesome, majestic grey hair.

yeah, i'm looking forward to being all grey! my little sis pulled out her grey hairs for a while but the result was that she had this small group of really short grey hairs if she didn't pull them out regularly enough haha. she ended up having to accept them too.
