On the subject of voices that suit Symone - perhaps Kaneto Shiozawa's voice as seen in the original Ai no Kusabi OVA as Iason? That seems like the kind of low, soft, smoky voice that might fit.

I actually asked Viva about that. She said it's actually a little lower, very soft, and like, flickering. It reminds me of a very soft candle in a darkened room.
I am so happy you like Demarius! I LOVE HIM TOO. LoL, I needed to draw some hot big men, I was sick of baby Hydra and his pretty man dad. Not to mention Symone. >_>; Ugh, I'll be so happy to do the Malikov chapter where there are big men EVERYWHERE.

I've ACTUALLY been watching a lot of ANIMUUUUU lately in between working on the comic and wrangling my fucking evil cats.

Since I'm not going to really be covering this in the comic, it's because Sepsis spazzed and killed Lydia, Hydra's mom, and when Hydra tried to stop him he started hurting Hydra. Demarius is from Lydia's country, that's why they both have white hair. He was a bodyguard sent with her, like a manservant, to take care of her and her kids. SHe's like a "princess" because her dad is ruler of another country.
Anyway, he beat down Sepsis as well as he could, grabbed Hydra, and RAN. They were both on the run for a year or two before Symone told them to come to him, saying he'd help them.

Well, right now no one knows he killed her, they think it was an "accident". I'm gonna try to cover more of that in the dialogue between Symone and Demarius.
But it's not very easy for Lydia's country to attack, because they need the Fairchild family. Hahaha, actually I'll explain this all in the Malikov chapter.
