The Tenth Realm is the Thor and Loki miniseries of Marvel's Original Sin event (which was last summer). Basically:

Loki is still drowning his sorrows in bacon after Agent of Asgard 5 (v1 TPB), and a secret gets revealed to Thor, so the two go and INVESTIGATE! Old Loki cant help himself but meddle. And things spiral out of control from there.

Some Loki moments:
- The popcorn one and the last with the old one. -> Loki: God of Unintended Consequences!
- An unorthodox attempt at making rousing speech. HUZZAH!
- Abusing shapeshifting, but not bothering to change back.

Not as much sexy as funny Loki moments.

Also that series will be referenced in v2 of Loki: Agent of Asgard ("I cannot tell a lie"). Helpful to know what the villain is referencing when he claims that he almost unmade the future.

But then again many things will be referenced in that from Journey Into Mystery to Young Avengers or the new Thor. Al Ewing (the writer of Loki:AoA) likes continuity very much. I read the issues. Be prepared for pain.

You'll cry... and demand a volume 3 immediately (I know I did. V2 will end with issue 11 which is an awful cliffhanger.)

Well as they are brothers it does relate to Thor a bit, but I meant the most recent revival of Journey Into Mystery from 2010, especially Kieron Gillen's run (issues 622-645 and the occasional crossover, I don't know how these got collected) focusing on the reborn (kid) Loki. That comic has a lot to do with what happens in Agent of Asgard (Mephisto's line about the fear crown, the sin that will not be forgiven, Sigurd's story etc.)

I admit reading a lot of comics... but no, I don't know very much. Mostly thanks to the Marvel Universe being huge. But when in doubt there is a WIKI! ( marvel.wikia.com/Main_Page ) I'm reasonably up to date on the Asgardian side at best.

What I did read (and came up): Loki:Agent of Asgard up to issue 12 (which will be apparently the first to be collected in volume 3) and Thor & Loki: The Tenth Realm, the Kid Loki part of Journey into Mystery ("Comedy in 30 parts, or tragedy in 31" <- That's an actual in comic quote about it), and the 2013 Young Avengers series (it lasted 15 issues, collected in 3 volumes)

I occasionally play Six Degrees of Loki (ala en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six_Degr… ) with that wiki... I mean I click "Random Character" and (if it's Earth-616 or an alternate universe I know) then try to connect them to Loki in the least steps possible.
