Yup.Something that I did for an upcoming guild, probably. For the hype page. ;D I haven't gotten around to coding it or deciding exactly how it would look coded, but it'll incorporate the above design.
As such, the above design will probably act as a banner standing alone.

Very nice photo manipulation really great look feel to the photo but I think you went a little heavy on the bushes.

just try and make it blend better user the similes or the same shades for different colors instead of going from dark to bright

Hmmm.
But if I wanted it to be eye popping and stuff (kinda wanted the dark and the bright to be clearly distinguished and all that), would that work too? Any methods you would suggest?

it would depend on what your trying to do exactly
i would use a dull color to be the background but make sure there is A LOT more dull then bright

At first glance, I thought that was some kind of robotic scorpion. O.o
I think it's slightly busy for my taste, but it's interesting to look at. ^^
