I assume this is at least in part your own imagining of Norse myth. Good, I like it! ^^, I also like the casting of some of the GoT characters (lmao at Frey - total perfection of casting, especially if he keeps some of that Lannister swag!) as characters in this story.

This is my own imagining of them yep, hence why most of the cast save for Narvi and Loki are fair haired, as far as I remember they were predominately blond and Sif was only dark because Loki cut her hair off.

I have just come across so many versions where nothing is explained its getting like mad XD
I actually quit working on mine because of all the stuff that coems with it. . .even though its 500 pages+ long and mapped and things. People do anything to tear things up now a days also the Norse Myths, I'm one of the few who beleives in the old versions the ones you prolly never even heard of. Lots of research and time out of my life because I love my family history. Totally in love with Mythology Loki mainly.

Drats! No!!!! Bummer! I just started reading Trials of Loki 0 today. Rats. Oh well, I shall still keep reading it cause it is brilliant. Haha, well I have had to research it all from scratch after reading a book when I was little on mythology so I have no clue whether I have found the oldest version yet or not. I have Germanic family history on one side so I've always been keen on researching that area and the Norse lands because I loved the culture back in the day.

Oh my trials Of Loki. .. yeah those are just test pieces not really the full thing, not to mention my damn Microsoft word screwed up a lot of the grammar so it’s all messed up, I have been rewriting them.
But yeah they are just my test stuff to see what people respond to. My real story will be very similar but changed more in depth. I do mix a lot of Norse Mythology into it but also make it new and modern a new story of the Gods a different generation. With it centered around Sigyn as a human torn to both sides. I also wanted to tell Loki’s mothers story because her struggle was also very sad and ended so tragic all in the effort to save her son from his own father, from the cold wasteland of Jotunheim that had been her prison.
My research is actually taking me such a long time because I am only one person; I also draw so I try to map things out characters and scenes. I am so water logged XD
Germanic eh? That’s a bit south from the Northern Gods, similar by name but way different from the Germanic ones that what some people don't get. They often group them all as the same Gods. The different areas all have different versions Germanic leans towards Loki being a pedophile the old Northern from even before Odin was around Loki was a far different God and respected.
Most my blood is Scandinavian, Norwegian, Icelandic all that stuff covered in ice and ocean etc. that be me (Partly Albino because of it and I hate being so pale I glow having bright blue eyes and blond hair)
But Russia even has dif versions

My hair is odd it does what ever it feels like doing, summer its lighter gold winter its thor gold my roots tho don't look at all like my hair. . if I grow it out it might bleach at the ends. Freaky stuff XD I always tell my friends 'WTF IS UP WITH THAT?' so I dye my hair a lot darker

Haha, the only freaky thing about my hair is the rate in which is grows and the thickness of it... yours is most definitely a "WTF is up with that?" lol. I ended up going black for two years, I'm now brown for the time being.
Pft, typos are easy to forgive, I hate when everything is bunched up and there is no grammar- the actual writer in me wants to reach through the screen and strangle some fanfiction writers when they type like it is script or without any real effort.
That it do but it is mucho fun at the same time. I have about ten books full of research and more are still being filled.

Oh I am such freak, I am a tweaker when it comes to typos, I have actually never taken classes for grammar or writeing, I missed those areas of school due to my mother having cancer I spent my time with her, and well after she died I came back to school and was left behind in everything. So I am touchy on the subject.
I hate doing the whole script thing I only use it when I am working on notes. Oh god I hate Fan Fictions sometimes

My sisters and I all had blonde hair growing up, just like our parents and then both of them turned dark and so have the three of us xD
I came top in my class for English and those things cause I took them really seriously, I even beat the advanced class above me at one point but when it is only rough copies, typos happen.

That is the one reason I started my "Help" documents for fanfiction writers. Two very bad stories popped up in the Loki section one night and I just went crackers about how poorly they were done. I only do script writing when it is an actual script that I'm working on, I shun it in the fanfiction community and will immediately curse someone who uses it and leaves out all the depth, detail and story.
Haha, seriously I would love to have my own place so I could do that, it'd be my little haven to escape from the real world into.

I was highest for public speaking in my state, artistic presentations, creative process. But over all I was at college level for reading when I was in 4th grade but for some odd reason my writing skills, grammar never caught on. I mean for a long time I was a stage actress in plays I know Shakespeare I was the only person in my class who could actually recite his plays without the pages. I could also teach 5th graders about drawing anatomy in 4 days even the ones who had no talent at all their teachers said to me they would never get it. I was only a freshman in High school and was experimenting with teaching methods and another teacher who also had thought a more open approach was needed for thought processing set it up. It worked so well the state silenced me and the teacher for conducting the experiment.
But the point being is I see things in people other s don’t I see the bullshit I have since my mother had cancer I know when I’m being lied to, I also do my own research so I know when a teacher is feeding me a load of crap.
The teaching system sucks I wanted to be a teacher at one point in time, maybe a Professor in History.
I wanted to Write I was so afraid though of critics, I mean you even have the British critics they hate how we write they can’t wait to tell us how wrong we are. I was always like then why do we bother teaching one method why not teach both so we know all of them. No we get screwed over.
But I failed most of High school but get this I took the state exams every year and scored the highest in my class about the 4.0 kids the teacher’s pets. Now is just the interpreter or did my teachers fail.
I actually knew more about subject than my own teachers. I admit I know my strengths but I also know my weaknesses Math I am a failure at I don’t understand numbers I’m Bipolar that might be part of it *shrugs*
But I’m stuck at home , I’m Bipolar Colleges really don’t understand people like me who have problems with their minds, like they make it impossible for me to even enter because I can’t get past math. Why do I need Math and Chemistry . . . medications I take I can’t be in Chemistry in hale one wrong compound and I’ll be dead.
My sister though she is a math genius! On her way to Intel right now then NASA. Chemicals, matter all that smarty pants stuff hell even weaponry.
My mother was of Norwegian Ancestry I was raised on Viking tales, the Gods and well my Birth God who is Loki. My mom was very proud of that part of her family. I called her Lady Sif my mother had this thick soft dark red brown wavy shiny hair and eyes that were brown but had that iridescent of tiger’s eye.
She was indeed a warrior Goddess she would kick a full grown mans ass if provoked.
My mother also gave me a family name is very old its Ancient Norse for Lantern or Torch that name is the priestess of fire Sigrid and the name actually coincides with Sigyn and Loki and I actually cried when I heard the story behind it.
But no my mother is not a painful memory for me.
Lord my Loki story is so epic and personal to me, I am always trying to perfect it. I am always thinking if sound alright looks ok. I was for a while having my sister do editing but I got way shy when she started getting mad. So I just quit even though she promised but she doesn’t understand.
So like it hurts now to even remotely think about showing anybody anything, like one person grilled me over commas , I was like God I am so freaking sorry but its just a rough draft no need to tell me I’m terrible or crap I already know my grammar sucks, I tell stories I have an Imagination that never stops. I can pull things out of nowhere including random songs but grammar stops me from doing anything with them.
I once painted Asgard on a wall in the house while my little sister and dad were off looking at colleges. (It was bad ass) I had to paint over it XD

I wanted to be a history teacher, or a historian- I love the old stuff so much, I always wish I could've been born around that time when people actually knew what hard work meant and didn't take life for granted.
Pft, critics are critics and generally they hate everything, as with movie critics they generally bag out the good stuff and praise the junk. You should write, write for yourself, write without fear, write because you have so much to tell others, write because you have the story there inside you.
I failed maths haha, but I had a bad teacher for two years. I never took it once we got to pick our subjects.
The girls in my history class use to be bitches about me when I was off sick because when I was there, I would answer all the questions. Not my fault I love history and actually did extra research or already knew half of the stuff and could remember it easily.
I haven't gone to college. I do home school nowadays, two years out of highschool and I'm doing a business course (I hate it) but I want to do film and writing. Directing and writing stories are the two things I want to do in life and I'm already 20 and haven't been able to start heading towards either yet. My writing keeps being pushed back unfortunately.
Unless you want a career as engineer or something where you need to know chemistry, you don't need them. I find it pointless that they shove such things onto the students when a great deal of them will never need them.

God commas are the least of things, I mean honestly spelling and punctation are key but one little comma is not a do or die thing in a draft, that is why it is called a draft.

I use to correct my history teachers, lord was that a big mistake.
I don't why they makes students learns such things they will not use in their actual Jobs it's pointless.
I mean if I am teaching A History class on WWII with the Atom Bomb I would need to know what makes the bomb tick, but I actually already know that by being curious and reading the whole Manhatton project notes. I love Robert Opje XD
also everyone in class use to stare at me waiting for me to comment on somthing the teacher said specially about war (She was a hippie, I would state the fact of life and the cycle of all living things to her and how peace will never work in the cosmos and the day it does their would be a rapture) It's a balance get use to it (My family also has a long line of Soldiers who have spent many year of their lives on bloody battle fields)
My family history really I just start finding out not long ago. Lets see I'm going to be 23 next year so about when I was 19 I was a little curious about my connection to the American Revolution so I started doing some simple family last name stuff. But It took me to one of the founding Fathers and back to his family in England and then to Norway, I was reading the family Surnames and wanted to really start searching because well I for some odd reason was curious about Norway the most I did not know why. I got really sick tho and ended up giving up and really never was going to pick it back up because I have been tought to hate and hide Norse blood so much show it has become shameful to talk about it with my father. But Along came Tom Hiddleston being cast as Loki, I had been so moved by him playing Loki (The Loki I always pictured when I was little,I cried in the movie theater) I threw eveything out of my work room boxed it up and let sleeping dogs lay in the darkness where they belong and started over with myself, pulled all of my Norse books out my Rune charts everything I had and started over, now that all I work on is Loki the Gods and I'm very proud of who I am it the one thing one part of my family I happy to take pride in, it explains me makes me happy. Loki himself has always been the only God to everbe aprt of my soul you could say to the point I feel and under. So when I seen the Film for the First time and that Tom had taken the real God and he was their alive, I was and still am so charged XD

yeah my family has 9 dif origins in Northern Europe. They have been Knights, Blacksmiths, Artists, Soldiers, Farmers, you name it they had probably done it I'm what you call A Mutt. Mud blood , mixed breed etc.
