I love that part of the game (Zelda 3) working hard to get that sword then...there goes Zelda! Nicely captured here. I love the colors and he looks ready for anything. ^^

The little red salamander/newt makes this picture amazing.
That's not to say that your Link is horrible or anything - quite the opposite: It's a good piece of art (though I do agree with an earlier comment that your foreshortening is a bit off).
No, what I mean is that the snake and the butterfly way at the back and especially the little red salamander make this very nifty, in my opinion.

I like his legs. And, uuhm.. his outline. (..if that makes any sense, since he barely has one..) And the sparkly sparkly sunspots. *3* So sunny and green and lovely.
