^_^ I've been working on this since we evacuated from hurricaine Wilma about a month ago, so this has been a pretty long term project for me. Overall, I'm rather proud of it, I tried to work with colors and do contrast and backlighting and I think I did an okay job. I realized that I can't shade metal objects for my life.but it's LINK! yay ^_^
I was doing a little tablet demonstration for some people who had never seen someone draw with one before, so I started drawing a girl. As i was giving her eyelashes and long hair they exclaimed "she looks like Link! make her link!" so...thus...he is link. And I decided to do her...i mean his ^_~, twilight princess outfit because who knows why, but the game is coming out in the spring (hopefully) and I want it.
Done totally in open canvas ^_^ with my wacom intuos 2

LOL, funny how you start drawing a chic, and end up drawing a dude. I love Link's Twilight Princess clothes, and it's awesome to see people do fanart of that already.

I'm FINALLY commenting on this! OMG, I love Link. X3 His facial expression amuses me in this one. Though his legs look like they are far enough apart that he could easily be knocked over. X3;;; You have some very good details in here, particularly in the clothing.

I just went on to upload this pic, didn't stay on for an extended period of time.
oo and i've just practiced with it, I like to kinda paint with it, you just have to be careful with layering because the opacity is always on multiply.
