I went through like 100 phases in my teens but I think this was the freakiest, my hyppie phase Lol!
I was all about the flower power and peace and baggy long clothes...
And did you see my glasses? They were HUUUGE!
If you are in your teens hear this: no matter how good you think you look now, you'll think you looked ridiculous when you're in your twenties

I totally know what you mean by the 'no matter how cool you think you look now' thing. I am waiting and working for my body to look good in pretty older ladies clothing, but Im too petite right now. The thing with me and clothes is that I'm always too lazy to draw them lol! I keep drawing people in regular t-shirts and jeans! And omg polka dot flats are love! Mine are getting old though, I totally need to buy new ones!

Lol! I loooooove drawing clothes so much, as you know already, since they have a lot to do with a character's personality. I love adding the tiniest bits of personality to a character, yay! <3 I'm totally fine with you (people in general) drawing characters in jeans and shirts, though. Jeans and shirts are cool.

Oh did see Twilight!! And I'm with you, I think it's sooo much better than the book! Don't forget that Twilight is my guilty pleasure, so I never thought the books were good at all Lol! I can't deny that I enjoy reading them but I also enjoy bashing them hahahaha!
Anyway, I think the movie fixed A LOT that was wrong with the book, like you don't see Bella being all whiny all the time, and her relationship with her father isn't limited to her cooking for him (I love the fact that in the movie we see them having dinner at the local restaurant together), and it's soooooo much less corny than the book! It still has pretty cheesy moments though, but not nearly as many as the book.
And I thought it was funny too! Sometimes it was funny at times when I think it wasn't supposed to be (like when you see Edward totally watching Bella sleep, I laughed SO HARD lool!!), but in general there was much more humour than in the book. I wish there had been more Alice and less Rosalie though, because Alice was really very cool

Oh, I TOTALLY agree, dear! I'm so glad you love it, too. Actually, I loved the movie so much I'm planning to write a whole journal entry about it soon, because there are just so many things in it that deserve praise and applause. I agree, it was really great to show a lot of moments between Bella and Charlie, and Bella was like.. a million times better in the movie, all in all. (I hated her in the books, to tell the truth.) I also adored Robert's characterization of Edward - he was a lot more interesting and different in the movie, in my opinion. And I was so happy all the supporting characters got so much attention. They added to the whole thing, they weren't lifeless, faceless puppets like in the books. I think the books could have much potential, but they are so poorly-written, and personally, I see the movie as the manifestation of everything that is good about Twilight, but leaving out ALL the bad parts. I'm in love with this movie, and I definitely think it couldn't have been any better, though you're right, there could be more of some things, but if we assume that the whole story is about the Bella-Eddy relationship, then the movie could show that a million times better than any of the books.
Ahh, sorry for talking so much... I have to keep the rest for the journal entry.
