This is based on a childhood memory of mine and a dear friend. She passed away several years ago. When we were young we often went to βThe Islandβ and catch frogs. But we never caught many frogs because we were more curious to what was on the other side of the Island. It was our little adventure.Related content

Whoa, I really like this one. The character designs are great - did you base them upon your friend and yourself?
I really like the style as well, the texture-y (textury?) look is great and works really well to give 'the island' a really dense feeling. Great colours and atmosphere as always.
The little backstory makes it more than just a painting though, it becomes even more special because of it.
