(2014) Legendary Godzilla: I do not entirely stand in humanities defense, but I do not possess any ill towards them either. I AM superior to ALL but Nature itself. As such, Nature has an order; a power to maintain balance of ALL life. I live by that order and enforce it. Should any creature cause such destruction such as you have, I will intervene to stop it, which in turn includes humanity as they are a part of nature despite their attempts to manipulate it.
(2016) Shin-Godzilla: Arrogance! Just because that you are an apex predator as I am, is that what you believe makes you inherit the task of maintaining such nonsense?!
(2014) Legendary-Godzilla: I have brought it upon myself to destroy those wished harm upon nature, for I am its enforcer and everything I do is to keep balance. Even if it means putting down my brethren who step out of line and cause needless destruction.
(2016) Shin-Godzilla: What logic did you find to create this? You forget that Nature leads to change, as is evolution! I am excercising my ability of evolution and change, if anyone is threatening Nature's order, IT'S YOU!
(2014) Legendary-Godzilla: No...it is YOU that threatens Nature's order, forcing change to take effect at a quicker pace than letting life do it for itself at its own speed, and you are letting your 'evolution' run rampantly with no regard of stopping instead of exercise self-control, having COMPLETE disregard of everything around you! You, MUST be STOPPED!

I like how you portrayed the two of them. Of course we both know which one lived at the end of the day. Legendary Godzilla had no qualms with humans but that doesn't mean he restricted his strength when fighting the MUTOs in the city. While shin godzilla was woken up and sought out whatever disturbed it.
He (Legendary Godzilla) knew that he had to get rough with them, and he was actually clever when defeating the male MUTO, he started using the surrounding buildings to his advantages and WAITED until the MUTO came close before slamming it into a nearby skyscraper, leading to its death. That shows that it's capable of learning and has some character instead of just a dumb animal.
Shin Godzilla merely had it's body adapt to situations at the cost of its internal atomic energy, until it was depleted, not give it credit though. It was impressive that it lasted as ling as it did, but it lacks personality.

Actually, I do not know much about Gamera. I watched Gamera film 1-3 but others (classic Gamera or other sequel) are not.
However, Gamera vs Gyaos, Legion, Iris in human form (girls) are really interesting! I will try to draw this someday.
By the way, which movie did Nightmare Gamera from?

No problem on the late reply, actually thanks for replying! The Gamera trilogy is all you really need to see; (Dare I say it is the best trilogy of giant monster movies out there, only seconded by the "Rebirth of Mothra" trilogy.) The showa films are not for everyone, I only like a few. But I do highly suggest the 2006 film "Gamera: The Brave"! Nightmare Gamera has a brief appearance in Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris; but has a very cool design in my opinion. Sort of Gamera's "Shin Godzilla" equivalent!

i personally think it would be shin since shin can still evolve, having the most DNA on the planet where as legendary godzilla isn't shown to have anymore evolutionary potential

Many people around me have many discussions about this case too.
So I drew them as 'look hardly to know who will win' situation to let them imagine the result.
By the way, I still doubt about the true potentially of Shin Godzilla (S.G.). As it keep going evolution even the last scene of move so I think it might be more powerful in many forms as 'Mutant Creature'. While Legendary Godzilla (L.G.) is the most powerful 'Naturally Creature', it looks very strong and imperishable but cannot be stronger or anymore evolution right? So I think L.G. can be win if it can endure S.G. beam power.
But if S.G. keep going evolved and more skillful, no one can defeat it for sure.
