It didn't taste as good as I'd have imagined...Also I think I broke my back from streaming the whole thing
Huzzah! Tis finished! This was actually supposed to be a Halloween themed painting with the orange lighting supposedly coming from a jack-o-lantern, but it kinda morphed into a jack-o-lantern infused butterfly
This is also my first time attempting to do backgrounds and I think the perspective didn't come out as skewed as I had imagined. I'm genuinely quite pleased with the result! I had loads of fun shading this. Its amazing how much of an impact scenery has on the colour of the subject. Ohh! And do you guys like the new brushes I used? It's got this dirty kinda look to it 
As always, here's a WIP (sorry its not animated!)

This is an amazing painting! For a first time doing backgrounds, it looks fantastic and the perspective turned out quite well. The attention to details is outstanding~frok the grass to to the trees to the texture on Luna's wings....seriously I could go on about this piece!

WOWWWWWWW, this is really outstanding. I love the overall that you went for with the this & the realistic sort of look that was crafted with the textures that definitely work amazingly well!!! Really does capture your attention in the most gorgeous way possibly with the lighting portrayed! The overall painted look of it & the contrasting colors are so gorgeous, EIBGAUI AHHHH THIS WHOLE THING IS REALLY GORGEOUS & WELL DONE OMG, OMG YOU'RE SO GOOD <3333 I love the background too with the moon & the glow of the outline which you've shown. The butterfly upon her muzzle is precious & Luna's look of curiosity makes it even more precious & adorable!! ( Love the little glow tooooo!)

Lolip, this picture is just breathtaking. I'm speechless. Everything looks absolutely right. The lightning and the shading creates a soft and mysterious mood together with the background (which was nicely done) and the whole drawing compositon and texture is amazing. I could literally stare at this for a big while, I so regret missing that stream!!

Ohh man, this is gorgeous! Not only do the colors perfectly complement each other, also the background attracted my attention for quite a while! Love the forest there! And of course you like this brush! It feels pretty "watercolory" (yet still is not as blurred) which totally became your - trademark? Can I say that?
Find it interesting though (in a positive way ofc) how parts of your bg are a lot sharper in terms of outlines than the main subject itself. Like the maple leaves for instance, they have perfect sharp outlines whereas Luna's ears are rather fuzzy. :3
