It didn't taste as good as I'd have imagined...Also I think I broke my back from streaming the whole thing
Β Β Huzzah! Tis finished! This was actually supposed to be a Halloween themed painting with the orange lighting supposedly coming from a jack-o-lantern, but it kinda morphed into a jack-o-lantern infused butterfly
This is also my first time attempting to do backgrounds and I think the perspective didn't come out as skewed as I had imagined. I'm genuinely quite pleased with the result! I had loads of fun shading this. Its amazing how much of an impact scenery has on the colour of the subject. Ohh! And do you guys like the new brushes I used? It's got this dirty kinda look to it

Are you in school for concept art? I'd imagine they teach a lot of ways to quicken the process. There's a lot of brushes they use to create synthetic details and scenery so that could be a way to quicken it too. I honestly wouldn't know how to paint faster, but I'm sure painting often will lead to proficiency. I wish you the best in becoming a concept artist!
