With the Rio Olympics in full swing, it brought back an old memory of mine. The movie Rio. I drew this piece roughly a week or two ago but I was really hesitant on posting it. This has probably been, for myself, the most sentimental piece I have ever drew as I have a lot of childhood memories associated with it. I would say that this would have been my first fandom xD (not really large enough to call a fandom) but I did start drawing at this stage.

Looking back, I know exactly why I loved this movie. First off, its a musical animation! The songs are sooo good! I can't stress that enough! Second, I'm a huge fan of colourful films, with no exception to MLP and lastly, I love CGI animation! And pair all these with a simple love story, yeah, that's enough to make me go bonkers xD Five years later, I still get that chilling feeling of nostalgia running through me and I cannot deny myself from expressing it. Seriously, if you've never watched it, I encourage you to do so! Still keeping my fingers crossed for Rio 3
