Back again with a fresh painting to celebrate the Christmas season! ^^ I really love these two sweeties together. Such cuties
I want to give a huge shout out to VanillaGhosties for guiding me through the process from line art to line-less as its still a huge struggle for me. Thank you for your guidance as it would not have came out the way it did.
Perhaps the biggest thing I've learned through painting this is that art is not easy. Most of you, regardless of ability or where you're at, know that it's a never ending uphill fight to create something more impactful than the last. And when something doesn't work out immediately, you've got to push on through. If you put in only a little because you're afraid of failure, you won't ever see where that idea may go. Give it your best, let yourself fail, learn from your errors, but most importantly, be confident in knowing you gave it your all.
Although I don't know fully what I'm doing, here's a WIP xD

I've been having a thought,, I might end up leaving this account and making two others - one for ponies and the other for mothcats/other things. I've noticed that because I started off as an MLP artist, I've been getting watchers who want to see pony art, and I feel really bad because I keep posting drawings that aren't related to ponies. I also feel like this account is really disorganized and my folders are all messed up, it'd be better if I started off fresh.

:/ I went through that phase as well with my pony and birds. At a point a posted non-pony arts for a few months and lost something like 20+ watchers. I really considered making another account, but the hassle of managing one was already too much. But you've got to realize this. Sure mothcats and ponies may not share many things in common, but it's your art style that makes it yours. People who watch you because they love your style is the kind of people you want to have by your side. Not some person who unwatched you because you stopped drawing ponies. Just give it a thought (: you've worked so hard to get where you are now!

Such a bubbly and cute piece, especially with those adorable outfits and expressions!
And I love the setting-- winter/Christmas time pictures are some of my favorite art to see, as well as make myself.
Also the description is very true. Stepping outside of the comfort zone is a really important step for artists to improve themselves. And you're doing a great job of it yourself :^)
