Description So I've been wanting to expand my art rather than just focus on ponies.
I've always had an interest for birds and I felt that it was about time I rekindled my passion for them.

Thank you they are so common here and since I enjoy their spicy chirping, I felt a need to draw them.

I enjoy watching a group of them come through the woods, chirping and wondering what I am before they move on.

You should consider setting out a bird feeder with sunflower seeds. I was so surprised how fast they eat it up!

My parents do that! The birds and squirrels eat it up so fast, especially in the winter.

I've wanted to set up something for my apartment to attract birds, but it's not a great place for it.

It does help to have a yard xD but I'm sure it will still work! Do you have any nature parks nearby? I've thought of just going there and getting my own pictures of birds, but probably not till it warms up in the spring.

I tried putting up a hummingbird feeder, but my balcony overlooks a parking lot so it didn't attract much. Works great for growing a few veggies in buckets though!

It's good to hear that it did bring in at least a few hummingbirds. Its the disadvantage of having an apartment I guess. But yeah, bucket plants would be a great idea!

I'm not sure it attracted any xD

The garden was awesome though, fresh spinach and basil are wonderful to have on-demand! Though the corn didn't quite develop fully.

Ohh haha! XD worth a shot anyways

It's great growing smaller crops but with corn I'm not so sure about that hehe. Strawberry is another really good plant to have (;

Oh yeah! I forgot about the strawberries. They were pretty tasty.

Ohh I'd imagine. You don't have to deal with animals eating em up either.
Mine are usually nibbled away by rats overnight. It's a pity, really.

That was definitely a plus to the buckets & balcony approach. No pests, diseases, etc.

Except a few bugs that tried sucking on my tomato vines. Still got lots of tomatoes, if small ones.

Ohh the bugs. I get ants in the tomato stalks xD
But hey, its better than eating chemical infested foods

Now I wouldn't exactly say that, but I'm trying to get back into it. Slowly but surely, I'll be right in it again. And thank you! I have plans for maybe a bluebird or bluejay next but its rather a large step up from this.
