Left to right: Mr T, Robin Hood, Frankenstein, Lara Croft, Buzz Lightyear, Father Christmas, Death, Skeleton, Shrek, Frosty the Snowman, V ( from V for Vendetta) Danger Mouse, The phantom of the Opera, Astro Boy, Homer Simpson, Mickey Mouse, Zorro, Edward Scissorhands, Lol face.1. I know lol face isn't from TV or film, but I had one space left and I couldn't think of anyone.
2. What do you think?? Feedback is greatly appreciated, and any ideas for future characters would be very helpful

Maybe what he means by straighter is refining your lines so they don't look haphazard? Idk. If your intent is a 'refrigerator art' style, then you've got it down. I like your 'Mr. T'("I pity the fool who draws me with stick arms"), 'Death', and 'Skeleton'-but then I'm pretty morose anyway. 'Lol Face' guy is quite expressive for an embellishment of an emoticon. I like the simplicity of your approach. If you want to improve your skills, remember: there are no rules, experiment; but also know that parameters are what define style and good use of them can help push work into new and different directions. You are free to set your own parameters and change them as you see fit. Your desired result will largely determine what parameters you set for any given project. &:',

First of all, if you want to draw that style, it's fine, but you'll need to improve the overall drawing quality, try to draw straighter (Not sure if this is a word though).
