2016 edit: Wow okay so this started getting attention again. Since I posted this, I've learned a great deal more about MOGAI/LGBTQPIAN+ identities and communities and come out to my friends as trans and queer.To be more specific, I'm genderqueer/nonbinary, and my orientation is a mix of grey-asexual and pansexual.
If you're a TERF, truscum/transmedicalist, or otherwise transphobic person, kindly stay the hell away from me.
I'm also struggling with my beliefs. I don't know if I want to be a Christian anymore because Christianity is making less and less sense and people I know who call themselves Christians are getting more and more awful and I don't want to be in the same group with them.
I hope this drawing clearly expresses the pain inflicted upon any LBGT(LGBT?) person by ignorant, hateful people.
You just don't go up to a person and say things like "You're a disgusting pervert because you're a queer faggot." That is just mean and disrespectful!
As a Christian, I find it very offensive when other "Christians"(and I put that in quotes because they're liars) say things like "God hates fags" because that isn't true. God loves everyone. He sent Christ do die for EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO WILL EVER LIVE. I won't shove my religion down your throat but I will tell you this: TRUE Christianity teaches LOVE, not HATE. We are not supposed to shove our religion down people's throats, say mean things to them, hate them, judge them, or anything like that. It is not our place to judge anyone.
You can come up to me right here, right now and tell me you're gay/lesbian/bisexual. I'll hug you, thank you for telling me, not judge you, and give you emotional support whenever you need it.

You mean my assigned gender at birth? I popped out of my mom and the doctor was like "It's a girl!"
But my gender identity is kind of a mix of androgynous, gender neutral, agender(genderless), and dank memes. I actually have a list somewhere of all the ingredients that went into my gender. It pisses off transphobes and truscum alike, or it would if they ever saw it.

Oh. Well, it's a song that I listen to whenever I get mad at Christians. I believe in Christ, but I'd rather not consider myself a "Christian" until I'm more mature and won't do stupid, senseless things. It says something about how Christians' actions sometimes don't show the love of Jesus, and I love that part so much.

I'm somewhere between asexual and bisexual I guess. Like I'm rarely, if ever, attracted to anyone, but when I am they can be male or female. I can appreciate any good looking person's beauty all day long, but it's EXTREMELY rare for me to feel any attraction. The only person I'm legit attracted to is my fiance(who is a guy). I've been called dyke, childish, immature, crazy, in denial, having "daddy issues", and other things because I don't have any desire to go out, get wasted, and screw anything with a penis and a pulse. And I've also had people tell me "Oh, so you don't think I'm attractive? I'm not good enough? Bitch." So I guess in a way I'm "getting back in the closet" and kind of reluctant to let it be known that I don't swing any way. >.<

You could've picked a better subject to show their prejudice rather than an emo, which I personally find to be a stupid and illogical path to take to deal with pain.

I chose the "emo" because more homosexual teenagers commit suicide than straight teenagers. Plus for some reason drawings involving self harm are able to carry greater meaning for me.
Also, don't knock it till you try it. True, self harm is very unhealthy and addictive, but it's not entirely illogical. I used to cut, and I saw plenty of logic in it. Still do, but I have sworn never to do it again.
So really, the "emo" (which is really just a boy wearing a wristband, crying, and cutting an insult in his arm) is quite appropriate for this piece.

I agree. I find it extremely logical when I do it as well. It has nothing to do with being "emo". Anyone can feel like that. I am not what people consider "emo" and I am depressed 100% of the time. I think the guy is an excellent representation
