Haha that happened to previous camera taking this. lomatic.deviantart.com/art/Ris⦠just got so captivated that i missed the freak wave and then in slowmotion saw my hands going for my submerged camera... 1st time i was happy about insurance! but i got the $2000 shot!.

Ouch, brutal. At the time my own camera wasn't insured so it's just as well that I was able to catch it before it pitched over the pier! Most of the shots from that day were total garbage, too.

Good reflexes! my disasters usually happens in slow motion with my brain slower to react so such a sinking feeling , but it would have been worse if the shots were crap too.
