A reference from a funny outtake scene from Toy Story 2. In the story, the four boys were hearing that the girls are in trouble (already Sharon has), and they decided to not hold back and breaking the vents. However in this version, the vent didn't break, because it was locked. Poor Sam
If you want to see the original story, check out "Never run Straight Ahead", the animal version with the story. Never tell you this but, some of the drawings are connected. XD But warning, it'll make you uncomfortable.

Either someone's idea of using the air vent as a passage was dumb, or someone else locked it up.
