Save save save! Make sure the classes you take will transfer out if you want to go for a B.A./B.S. Also, check to see if your high school had any credit articulation agreements with local Junior/Community colleges. I got 16 credits out of my high school just by asking.

I've been looking at that. And I got to bump up my English so they will transfer! And I get to save some money and time with that too! I don't thik I got 16 credits from high school. I'm not really sure how much I got actually.

Your school probably has a catalog with classes that are worth any credits. (The guidance dept has all of that stuff.) Most of my classes were very computer specific so they had their transfer value towards my degree. I was rather lucky! lol But yeah, I have no debt right now 70 credits in with an associates. You should do great.

Well, some of the counselors told us that we should expect to be there for 3 years. Since some students don't know what they're doing, and have to take more classes than they need to. And I've seen a few 3rd years around. So I might get to spend some more money... But I'm taking a counseling class, so that should help me out too!

three to four classes at a time usually equal 3 years. I was going to be three....but I had to take one online class during the winter semester which was "technically" the forth year >_>. What are you majoring in?

Right now I'm taking 5 classes. But I'm only getting 13 credits.... But I'll bulk up my load later on, and take some summer classes too. I'm just trying to get used to college life right now :< And I don't have a major yet.

Five classes? That was my max...Although, I was going to work too. Sounds like your going to be crazy busy. Word of advice though...you might want to limit summer classes. Those are quite hardcore (Except speech) I could only do one at a time~ lol Choose the major soon! or just get a gen-ed A.A. degree and transfer it anywhere you want.

I'm just trying to get situated for the first semster, and hopefully I'll take harder classes later. But seeing as I don't have my own car right now, and I live out of town, school is all I need to focus on right now. I hope to take at least one class over the summer, if I don't plan on going anywhere. I think summer classes are 6-9 weeks long. So I might get a good class : D

Nothing wrong with a foundation. If school is all that you need to worry about, then it's going to be a ton easier then what I went through.
Summer classes are about a month and a half...Winter is around four weeks xD. Full projects are due like every four days lol. Definitely
shop your classes and grab the best one!

All of my brothers went to school on top of having a job. So I wanted to just concentrate on school for right now. But I don't have a car to wrry about for gas. : D (I take the bus)
This will be my longest Winter vacation! I was alsways jealous of my brothers XD And now I'm the only one in school, for the time being. Which types of classes have projects due?

Almost all of them. There's always one thing that the class leads to. You just kind of
have to be ready for it lol. Its good to have just one focus. The study load wont punch
you as hard.

My sister had to do a paper for that class too. While very minimal and easy, still a 2 page paper on wellness. lol.
Interviews are fun! your going to do a few of those. Especially for class once you get farther along. If
studying was all you had to do Id be really happy! lol

Oh and dont forget the 30 page business presentations with a 50 slide powerpoint that
must last 15-20 minutes. Group work of course...lots of group work in my field at least.
