Some sprites I made of a friend of mine for a game I was going to make...A little less dark than most of stuff... and yes he is wearing a dress...

The Sprites are Fairly Well drawn but not, 'spritey' enough, simply put they don't really look like sprites, they are very smoothly shaded on the inside but on the outside are blocky, this contrast is quite unappealing and in my oppinion set this deviation down a few points. the sprites are fairly well drawn and quite humourous although the hair covering one eye has edges that are too straight, somethig that the artist should consider revising. One thing that I feel ruins this piece and many other pieces is the compression artifacts left around the characters, highlighting the choppiness of the outlines, this is not desirable.
Overall: A good piece that isn't polished, a little more work on it would make it outstanding as a work of sprites 6/10

no problem - I have decided to join the comment revolution ([link] ) and give useful comments - just as I would expect people to give me, try using a different program to compress to jpg or a lower compression rate and good luck with those sprites
