Everybody now: DAAAAWWWWW.I really wanted to show Maple's childish vulnerability. I know a lot of people are opting to show her bossing everyone around or just going on as normal, but I'd like to think she is genuinely upset that Mike is missing.

I admit I tend to view Maple as a bit of a brat in her worst moments, but I see her as taking these recent events pretty hard. She's already got a friendship started with Leon, which makes it easier for the floodgates to open. It's great for Leon to be there for her!

Maple's a hard character to portray. She's usually shown as a bratty little kid, but we need to remember she is just a child and has the usual insecurities. It was touched on in the Prologue how choked up she is but that was mixed again with childish rudeness. It's a hard balance to strike, especially since regular members like us can't really get into the Guildies head to figure out the characters, particularly when all we usually get are a few lines of dialogue to work off.
I'm trying not to overstep the "friend" mark too much with any of the guildies, but given the Mission history, I think a little familiarity is at least acceptable. And if nothing else, Leon's snout is a pretty good hanky.

Yea, I've only given dialogue to the guild NPC's a couple of times. Their accurate in my own mind, but god knows if anyone else thinks so! I guess that's kind of the fun in a group like this though, seeing everyone else's interpretation of the set characters!

Oh absolutely, it's interesting to see how different people view different characters. The only problem is when they turn out to be the complete opposite of how you guessed it. XD;

Haha, I know, right? Leon's quite a bit bigger and chunkier than most Electrike and it's been mentioned Maple's a little runty, even for a child. She's such a cute little thing, though. ^_^
