Yes, I'm painfully aware of the anatomy problem here. I noticed it too late (which is a poor excuse seeing how I continuously remind myself to stop doing it...)While everyone else is move forward, I keep taking steps in the opposite direction XD Oh well I guess, we can't all be winners.
Anyway, I'll probably scrap this later. Please no critiquing this piece -_- I am really aware of the flaws so much it hurts my head.

Most of the time, the OCs in my gallery are from a story idea I've come up with. I write little notes about them, their worlds, friends etc.
I don't know if I'll ever fully write them into full blown series or not, but it's more fun for me to draw characters that I know the personalities of. I see nothing wrong with drawing random characters, but the pieces I draw when knowing the character have a little more closeness to me XD

Aaah, anatomy and proportions, they're really a pain. Now in my art school we're drawing nude models and believe me, sometimes I want to bang my head to a wall, so I understand you n_ñU

Well, after a lot of years of practice I draw anatomy much better, but there's always poses and angles that can make your life miserable xDDDDD.
I don't think anatomy is something that you can completely master, you can be really good drawing it, but sometimes it comes and bits you in the ass when you least expect it xDDDDDD.

I'll tell you this, it was the background that kept me from putting this straight into scraps XD It has all my favorite things to spam: hearts, stars, glows, magic circles, and BRIGHT COLORS

Well,I think flipping doesn't necessarily tell you if the anatomy is wrong or not, but usually it helps you see what's throwing off the balance or what could potentially need fixing. In general, if the picture can be flipped without looking too weird, it's better,(that's why Sai has that handy feature) but yes my photos do that too

I know, I use the flip thing all the time. Do you do it for lineart? I do it when I am having trouble drawing a line at that angle so I flip it. Since I am left handed, it is easier for me to do curves that arch on the right side. Yeah, your probably right. You usually are!

I flip for all stages of my art if I'm not being lazy, but most importantly for my line art and the stage where I lay down the rough concept for the colors (I don't always see the line art being off until things have color blobs on them

That always happens to me with the eyes! They don't look all distorted until you put color in them. Which when I did this one, I put color in the eyes. It looked okay...but I don't know what it's gonna look like completed. I do the eyes last, so...I'm scared to see them!

Well, if they're good colored already, at worst you'll probably just need to add some minor touch ups, but I doubt that you'd even need to do that

I guess the eyes ended up turning out okay. Her skin now looks dark, but I'm sure it might be because of the white BG. *sigh*

Use the hue/saturation bars or the brightness/contrast ones? I always have to make adjustments like that, but yea, it could just be the way the BG is right now.

I did, I use it ALOT too. I think it looks better too now that there is a BG. I just decided to make it my ID since I don't like having two Miku pics and I really don't like the Miku one anyways! lol
