The sun is mine. the julian chains are his and he shaded the planets in Photoshop, and it was all assembled in photoshop. I'd say upwards at 24 hours with the rendering time, if not longer.

Nice work.
Good job turning the fractals into planets. I especially like the green one and purple one.
's interesting

I am an amateur astronomer and I see numerous "on edge galaxies", "star clusters"
and "nebula clouds"(Nebula clouds often have red in them). I love what you have done...
Here is one of my 30 minute exposures on my telescope (Lagoon Nebula).

Well, I won't accuse you of stealing ideas (that would be rude) instead, I'll just say that you executed it well enough to make it worth looking at before voting for The Voyage!

I've had this idea since us people at IFDDs decided what contest we were doing! Before YOU knew about it!
See, I'm staff, so I win.
Probably nto the competition, but I win this arguement

Okay, fine, I lose the argument. As long as Phoenix and I win the competition it's all cool, right?
I thought my fractal solar system idea was original, but I should have known better. At least we didn't have the same exact concept for expressing it.
