Once again I prove more apt at depicting angst and distress; let's face it, wrinkles are kinda easier to draw than smooth surfaces, so sue me. www.tiktok.com/@williamlimusic… This piece is in memory of a very badly dramatized overview (I really wouldn't call it a documentary) of the life of King David I saw on the History Channel once years ago; they did not grasp the premise of the story at all, but assumed that David was made comfortably okay with becoming king of Israel. The man literally replaced his best friend as next-in-line for the throne, and said best friend was okay with it and basically swore fealty, and then died defending his father in battle; I was like, "Do you people even read?" That and everything else that happened to Saul's household after that was fairly traumatizing, especially when he's the one who has to sit on the same throne with Saul's metaphorical blood all over it; I'm positive that question if there was anyone left in Saul's family was made through tears. Any thoughts? I'd love to hear; thanks!
