...At least Cloud didn't get the bright idea to cause a time crash when it happened to him. Then again, if he had to watch her die over and over again for over 1000 years...

And he doesn't know how to, which is, considering it is Cloud, a good thing. He was devastated after seeing her die once, I can't imagine how he will be after the second death, not to speak after over 1000. He would turn into something like Kefka who is totally mad

Why can't Square remake FF7 with these graphics and revamp the combat and materia system? It's not like there aint millions of people waiting a decade to throw money at it.

because they are moving forward and to remake a game on the scale of final fantasy 7 it would take the entire staff at square enix not to mention once it was done would we even like it? all final fantasys after 9 have been garbage. I think square knows that they could do the original no justice so they just leave it alone as the classic we all know and love.

Nah, just kidding! Loved the reference to FFVII, though. But I must say, Final Fantasy VII really does capture emotions like no other game can.

I also noticed that Serah's default outfit (the one she wears once we gain control of her) is very reminiscent of Aeris's KH2 outfit. It has the same coloring and all. I dunno... Serah's pretty adorable too, but Aeris/Aerith is my favorite female in Final Fantasy! (tied with Rydia from FFIV)
Also, I wonder who'd win in a battle between Cloud and Caius. Sure, Caius has godly powers and can stop time and all, but Cloud DID kill Sephiroth like three times in the compiliation... Then again, Caius can be considered a real god, while Cloud is a human, not to mention the last two times Cloud killed Sephy, he was helped by his friends. Then again, SERAH beat Caius, so...

I haven't played FFXIII-2 yet, so I don't know how Caius handles it... I'm desperate to get it though. That, and Versus-XIII when it comes out. >.<
