uploading the gif wip because no one wants to wait all day just to watch boring, rough lines appear6.Class stuff. We needed to do a 1 minute, b+w, non figurative animation. This is just a practice thing for the final, which turned into some kind of abstract fish eating abstract bread and then lines.
Basically eyeballed from the frame on the front of Kat Von D's book. Because I'm classy like that.

That's just stupid, the conection with your art doesn't have anything to do with the medium ...
I hate when people say that, if the digital medium doesn't work for them cause they are used to other materials, fine, but we were raised with a crayon in one hand and a mouse in the other...

Seconded on the digital media thing. That's.. a fairly silly point to make. I mean. Disney? Pixar? Care to imply those employees aren't passionate about their work at all? Especially for an animation class. Weird.
But on the bright side, the animation is very smooth, and I love the sepia. (Also, I can't tell it was digital, so. : D) Good luck with that course. Sounds like a royal pain. xD

I don't know either. I was sitting next to a guy who works predominantly with digital stuff when the lecturers said that. He almost walked out of the theatre.
