Ahhh I keep returning to look at this. The thin, human fingers and the way the skin turns cloth-like and folding at the neck. Plus the curls of the smoke are lovely to behold. This design is just a good time.
I'll admit, though, that there's something equally charming about the stocking feet/beet root ends of the legs and ears in the earlier drawing. It's sparer in shading and details, which makes it a tad more haunting.
Mmm I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm charmed, and I wouldn't mind seeing periodic revisits of this chap!

Eh either style is cool in my book.
But this one is much more clean n crisp.
