I dunno.... dont get me wrong, this is an ADORABLE scene. TOTALLY 'dawwwwww 
But im having trouble with the fluidity of the situation. He pretty much went from "omg, no touchy u savage, monster, rawr" to "hey, actually i wanna be happy he molested me and now he says he'll build the contraption with me" in a matter for just a few minutes. Am i the only one that feels this seems a bit forced? I still would have been totally mortified and angry if something like that happened to me by a guy i was only just earlier loathing for very good reasons. I wouldnt be so quick to forgive. I dunno.... maybe im being too critical.
But it is still an adorable scene and i LOVE how the style is improving more and more as this story continues. well worth sticking around to see what'll happen next!!

again, it's because he loves inventing more than he fears and hates the captain. That and because of how much material exists within the original story, we have to speed up the process a bit. Mainly so we can fit it all in before too long.

that makes sense i suppose. When you're on a budget and need to finish within a time frame it could get a bit daunting along the way. But the characters are well developed and the script is rich and thought out. So im certainly not "bashing" anything. I LOVE this story all the same. (i do hope my comment didnt come off rude. ^^")
