This piece was inspired by this lovely lady and another artist on here that I ran across way back when I first joined DA. But at the moment I'm unable to find her page so if I run across it, I'll update ya.
The title for the piece "Terror in the Sky" seemed to fit with the times when I created it. A play off the"Bird Flu" in a way. I kind of have a thing for birds
I thought it was interesting that I attached the tree to the birds head when it's usually the opposite, the bird being a free bound object and the tree being a still standing object...and blah blah blah...
Well so mediums used are...
Spray paint
Oil Paint
Red and beige string
Nails
4 little plastic birds
This piece is a one of the bigger pieces I've done...somewhere around 24x18 or something...A larger piece anywho.
Done in January of 2008. I haven't really painted on a canvas since then.
Since I had kept it at my parents house while I living with my boyfriends, it now has a few holes in the canvas and some of the spray paint has chipped away at the corners, its sad

Very nice piece, caught my eye. Great use of spray paint, which is usually tacked on so terribly.

I don't know if it's quiet surreal enough for Salvador Dali, at least not the background, thaat would need some overhauling
Thank you
