I hear your bones creak
Like a whisper to the ghost before
Gathering dust like an anitque
Closed behind a closet door
Your secrets are scratched
Like the surface of disk
But your bones are still attached
So you take the risk
You wander a deadened garden
Knowing it will lead you nowhere
Yet you do this again and again
As if it were a religious prayer
But today something is amiss
In your eyes you're growing weak
You're fading from what exists
But your bones do not bespeak
The parting of your soul
I watched you for so many days
As if I could console
The despair in your gaze
And these minutes of woe
But it seems time is lacking
And there is nothing I can bestow
For now your bones are cracking
You're falling down below

For so long I tread
For you monsieur
For I was your watcher
