A background character, sure, BUT! It was enough to get the old brain goblins scurrying round up there. No at all helped by the creator replying to my own tweet with this;

So yeah, I had to hijack this idea for Hop on Spots propaganda. There was no choice.

Ilia, a 17 year old student, and amateur tattoo artist, works in a coffee shop owned by her best friends family. One day her best friend meets and falls completely for a blonde customer and the two become absolutely insufferably cute. It's a good thing Ilia would never let something as stupid and cliche and romantic happen to her... nope, no way, never in a million years. Meanwhile, Carmella, a student at the prestigious Beacon academy, and star of the track team, is frantically begging her friend Mata to hide her scroll so she can pretend she lost it and has a reason to finally talk to the cute, tattooed baritsta she's been fawning over for weeks.

Edit- Also apparently this whole AU was first coined by AG_Nonsuch, so I want to thank them as well. If you're a part of the RWBY community on any of these hellish websites, you've probably seen their work. I for one, am a huge fan.
