God, if I had a nickel for every comic I half finished then scrapped and never let see the light of day, I would probably have like four nickels. And most of those nickels would be from Pokémon based pics.I finished this a while ago, before Ultra Sun came out. I guess I just wasn't happy with it/I couldn't get the colors to come out right so I juts kinda forgot about it as I moved onto more RWBY stuff. Still not happy with how it came out, but I put so much work into it, might as well post it.
I like Type:Null a lot, and the way you got it in Sun and Moon was fun, but I thought I'd add a little twist to it for Ultra Sun, hence the new protag being in this.
Yeah, I'm aware you don't even get Null from Gladion in Ultra Sun, and that sucks, so I guess you could look at this as a little What if? scenario.

I love randomizers. Buuut I lack the strength for a nuzlocke. I always end up giving up and breaking the rules eventually. I'm weak and love my gross monsters too much to let them die.
They're more fun to watch for me.

Don't we all? I recently started playing my old Pokemon Colosseum file (cuz I never beat it and need to get around to it), and I forgot how great it was to never cringe about a pokemon fainting in battle. If it was a nuzlocke, my Houndoom would be dead like five times over.

Houndoom is cool. Every Pokémon pupper is my favorite. I haven't played/thought about Colosseum in forever but I remember being sooooo hyped when it first came out. I could never beat the "story" mode though, mainly because I had only ever beaten Pokémon Red at that point by cheating, by using the Missingno trick to get infinite rare candies to get all my guys up to 100. Needless to say, cheating did not provide me with the skills necessary to compete with computer controlled opponents that used actual strategy.
I like to think I've gotten better though, but I still rely on brute strength most of the time, treating my children like furry little ballistic missile's more than anything.

I played Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness first, only because I didn't know Colosseum's existence. I do have a rather epic Shadow Lugia Gamecube because of it though.
I'm sure we all do that (unless we're math nerds like the competitive players, who all make us feel inadequate)

Never actually played either of those, I guess a console Pokémon game still felt... weird to me at the time, But it sounds like I missed out though.

lol I was wondering why you were mentioning Trainer Red. I've never played Pokemon Stadium, since I never had an NES, but I heard a lot of people griping about Colosseum and XD "stealing" stadium's pokemon models. Whatever. I prefer a game WITH plot, thank you very much. If I wanted to play a pokemon game with nothing but fighting, I'd be playing Pokemon Battle Revolution.
It's never too late to try. I buy all of my games second hand, and it's pretty cheap to get some of the old systems and games, if you know where to look.

I wonder if they’ll ever rerelease a version of these games on the e-shop or something, or maybe they already have and I’m a dumb. I’d totally be more likely to play them then since my GameCube hasn’t worked since it’s AV cable disappeared into the void 
No story was one of my gripes about Stadium, Pokémon battling is fun, but it’s better when the fate of the world is resting on the shoulders of an eleven year old.
Doesn’t one of the Colosseum (I cannot for the life of me spell that word and autocorrect is no help) let you start with Umbreon and Espeon? Because I love those good puppers too... I’m not even sure if the eeveelutions are dogs, but screw it, I want to pet mind pup and dark pup.

Maybe but I don't know. I feel like Pokemon tends to bury its spin off games (Pokemon Pinball, Trozezi, Rumble, Pokepark, Colosseum, etc). I find that one of the oldest rules of videogames is that it's always boring watching someone else play (unless they're really entertaining to watch).
Looking's not that hard. It's not like Amazon where there's a set price. I discovered a second hand game shop chain in my state where you can buy and sell games to right next to my GameStop (the latter which only buys and sells new-ish console games) that also has a bucket ton of DVDs and Blurays. It's like how Half Price Books is to Barnes and Noble. Just look up second hand videogame shops in your area, and I'm sure you'll find one you can check out. I got a huge collection from them that I ended up paying a 1/3 or sometimes even a 1/4 of the original price (and they don't sell or buy anything that doesn't work). There's even an old NES Prince of Persia game for 12.99. You never know what you'll find until you look.
Also, you could totally have that AV cable replaced for dirt cheap, now that everything's all digital and wireless with your PS4s and Nintendo switches. I got a replacement AV cord for my PS2 from my game shop for only $7 bucks.
(So glad I'm not the only one who hates spelling 'Colosseum') and yes. XD Gale of Darkness is the one that lets you pick what you evolve your Eevee into. And I believe Eevees are based on foxs/kitsunes, which act kind of like dogs (though I believe Espeon is based on the Japanese yokai cat, Nekomata, the two-tailed cat).

Type: Null is a good boy. Albeit a boy who was genetically engineered by a team of evil scientists to kill Ultra Beasts and was pretty much tortured his entire life, but a good boy nonetheless.

Honestly I keep forgetting you're a Pokemon fan. It's nothing against you, obviously, I think it's just because you don't post Pokemon content very often. But you have priorities with your fanfiction and more RWBY stuff, so I totally get it and DEFINITELY endorse it.
BTW, how did you like USUM? I personally thought they were a massive improvement to the originals with sped-up battle animations and greater difficulty level.

Yeah, I draw a lot of Pokémon stuff in my spare time that I never post. I actually didn't even want to post this for a while, but since writing is taking a lot longer than I thought (new chapter needed a LOT of work turns out) I figured I'd just post SOMETHING.
As far as Ultra Sun goes, I liked it, I probably would have liked it more if I hadn't just played regular Sun like a week before. But I didn't know it was a remake, I thought it was a sequel, that's my bad. I loved the upping of the difficulty, I remember getting to like the third Hau fight and being like, "holy crap he has FOUR Pokémon?!" Glad they made him a bit of a challenge. Never noticed the sped up animations until you said something, that's nice.
I guess my only gripe was the removal of some of my favorite story parts. Like the "you choose your starter, but they also have to choose you" moment, god I loved that part in the original. Also I thought the original's ending was much more emotional. AND WHY CAN'T LILLIE COME WITH ME TO EXEGGUTOR ISLAND, DAMNIT!!!

But I did like all the new Ultra Wormhole stuff and Necrozoma stuff too. I'm at post game stuff now and still want to keep going and try to fill out as much of my pokedex as reasonably possible.
