This is not a goldeneye.It is a martial eagle.
But its eyes are golden.
Taken at the Falconer's Fair 2007 in Newport, Shropshire. Full-view recommended (of both falconer's fair and photograph).

Thanks for the comment. It didn't seem hazy to me, but I'm sure that I could improve it by doing that. I wish I could do that to every photo, but unfortunately it's boring and photography is only a hobby for me lol! I do occasionally do it to photos, because it is rewarding when it improves them. But it gets a little time-consuming and boring if I do it to every photo.
But hey, never mind. Thanks anyway! Yeah, the falconer's fair is a lotta lotta fun. They have stalls and falconers wandering around in beards and hats, and lots of falconry equipment and goodies for sale. Lots of species and displays as well. Most people only go there for an argument, but I go there to buy equipment as well because it's really cheap there. You can usually find gloves for 20 quid, which is REALLY cheap for a glove.

it's really really fun. They're doing a falconry festival this year actually, in July sometime. Perhaps there's som,e info on the internet. Or you could go to the fair next year, if you arrange a short holiday lol...people do come from other countries just to go to the fair!
