Peregrines have a way of looking at you that doesn't seem like they are looking at you.

This is Silhouette, who is my charge until I leave here in September. She is a beautiful imprint falcon, the best in the world in fact. I have tried to get my boss to let me train her, but the problem with reducing an imprint's weight is that they start screaming unbearably. We have a tiercel who is doing just that right now. It's quite unbearable for certain impatient people. I tried flying her at fat weight today...it doesn't work unless they're totally bored by their surroundings. Which, being an intelligent little sod, she isn't.
