He took an entire nine hours to complete, with the only break occuring between the cooling stage and the paint process. Samehada is wrapped in ribbon to get that natural feel.
Poor guy...the hilt of the sword broke and Samehada fell off his back while I was putting the finishing touches on it. Super glue to the rescue!

Hobby Lobby or Michael's. You can get a pack for about $11-$13 apiece. And, the pack has enough to make three models if you have them all the right size. Good for the money.
