It has been way too long since I submitted something. D| Real life is eating my time.This is a pic that haunted my mind for a while now.
I see Kingdom Hearts darker than some other fans.
Their Kingdom Hearts contains cute little plush Heartless which you fight with your Disney friends. You sings songs with a certain mermaid and make friends in every world no matter what.
My Kingdom Hearts is corrupted by war. Heartless are monsters that come from the dark to rip out people's hearts to devour them. Only the few chosen ones, able to wield ancient weapons can fight them. Darkness and despair spread over the worlds and people live in fear of the forces of darkness.

I'd play your version. Perhaps their original idea was something like yours, but then they had to really water it down for the kids. Pity. But honestly? Heartless take people's hearts! How can that be pleasant? Anyway nice work. The different styles you have for each picture enhances the binary created.

I like your version better 8D The Death Shadows are WAY more awesome and villain-ish than the real Shadows. (Although I do love my Shadow Heartless plushie OwO)
I see it... well, not darker, but more... seriously? Like, the Heartless aren't just there to eat people's hearts and shit; they instead play a role in maintaining the balance of the worlds. You can't have light without dark, see? And Sora's reckless destruction of the Heartless in the first game was what allowed the Nobodies to reach such power. They too play a role, for you can't have something without nothing. It's all about contrasts and such. Yin and yang and all that zazz.
Or else I'm reading too much into things again. ...I'll stop now XD
