Parian and Behemoth the Endbringer.Inspired by web serial "Worm" by Wildbow.
One of the longest running jokes in the Worm fandom is the secret of Parian's true power, which is apparently strong enough to take on Behemoth, a 45 foot tall monster... but no one knows what it is.Β

Obviously, her power is to tell horrible knock-knock jokes. This doesn't work on the other Endbringers because they were secretly from Germany all along (I mean, why else would the Simurgh come from the back of the moon? Think about it!)
Now let's just hope for her that Nursery has a sense of humorΒ

Its not "a true power" but "a true use of her power" which I am asuming means she can just use her TK cloud on endbringer physiology.Β

I think I saw something theorized in one fanfic where her power somehow can be rigged to let her remove radiation from the air, hence her supposed utility against him, but otherwise I've never seen an explanation for it. Somehow I doubt we'll ever be getting an official explanation. Bah.

It wouldn't- note the other comments on this page that it's not something that will necessarily injure him, just something useful against him that can potentially slow him down.
My best guess would actually be similar to ReverseUnicorn's- the endbringers are, on the whole, made out of extremely tiny crystalline structures packed in ever denser layers, at least according to Tattletale's power. Since Parian's telekinesis works almost exclusively on many small things at once, and the Endbringers aren't actually biological (meaning the Manton Effect is not necessarily in effect), the natural conclusion is that her power can affect the Endbringer's bodies, which would be able to, perhaps significantly, impair their movement.
That said, if the meaning of Wildbow's statement was that it ONLY applies to Behemoth, this theory falls through, which makes the radiation guess more plausible.

The only official commentary we've gotten on the power is "It's guessable", "That's incorrect", and "Stop pestering me with theories".
Honestly I think that the theories are more interesting than the actual power, which is underwhelming compared to the fantastical speculations people have been coming up with.Β As it's been mentioned before, it's not a Scion-tier power to destroy Behemoth in one hit, but one that can hold him back a little.Β

If it's ever revealed, people are going to keep theorising on Parian's "true true power". The hype has gone on for so long that people will be disappointed no matter what it is.

Personally I think it's that her power when it disperses messes with behemoth's ability to turn people into hotpockets, because her power can't beat him only slow him down.

Yeah, people forget it's "Slow him down", not "1v1 wipe".Β
The power is not going to be as impressive as people have been guessing.Β Therefore people WILL be disappointed with it.
