DONT WATCH ME FOR PONY ART I DONT DRAW PONIES ANYMOREIs it just me , or do the new 'Equestria Girls : Rainbow Rocks' designs look like monster high students ?
(wich isnt an insult because I like monster high designs)

I'm certain that Hasbro had competition with Mattel's Monster High, so they made Equestria Girls, but Monster High stays as monsters which they can market them always being, so when Hasbro only markets the humans in their pony power forms, they have a limited doll design. That's why I think if they change their characters human form much closer to Monster High's with more "freaky flaws" they'll be able to make more dolls in different outfits but with the same look as MH. I don't know. I'm certain EG was a market stunt since the show IS made for marketing to little girls.
