okay then Ill try to explain it , but be warned next to that im not english im also bad at explaining xD

first I made the lineart (people often wonder how they are so smooth , if you wonder that too ; put the stabilizer up , that helps me at least )
then i put a layer above there and put it on clipping group
then I color the coat lines with a darker color , and just avoid the outlines
then I make another layer above that layer and put it to clipping group and do the exact same thing but with the mane
and I just do all this until all the lines have color , every color on a seperate layer
