Played around with Multiply layers in SAI :dI always thought Vinyl to have a calm personality , and gets happy with music , her first appearance in the show was nodding her head at some calm music after all
never really liked the whole personality the fandom gave her , all the dubstep and stuff . But I quess its getting more canon thanks to Equestria gilrs hehe (not that I mind , just never thought about her that way) > just wanted to do my take on Vinyl ,, it was fun x)

Totally! Some people make it a little too bright and it doesn't work as well. The purple eyes work a lot better!

Imagine that's how she acts because that's how everyone expect her to act but in reality she's quite calm and enjoys less noisy music. 
I really love how you portrayed her here. Everyone always go for the crazy DJ look.
