Just a doodle to get me back into the swing of drawing turtles. The last three years is the longest period of time I've gone through without drawing Turtles since like, 1989.
Anyway, rough drawing, even rougher colouring. I think I forgot how to draw...
Also, there are no wires because naturally Don has rigged up some kind of wireless/Bluetooth thingymebob for the headphones.

Three years-ish? The last proper one I put on here was 2009. The 2010 one isn't included because I did that before the 2009 one, I just forgot about it. Not quite three years then, since it's the start of 2012.

Lol, guess you haven't given up after all. Life has just been dragging you down. It's understandable, but I'm happy you're still around. And you still got it after all these years, that's a bonus as well ^_^. It's a cute picture of the brothers just being themselves, it's refreshing to see.

LOL! Technically I did. I finished this pic today, but I forgot it was March and thought it was still February. Doh. I was too lazy to change the dates
Life often distracts me from my one true love, Turtles! (Or four true loves?) But they're always in the back of my mind. I really hope I don't vanish for another three years, but I have a feeling that once the Nickelodeon show airs in Autumn I'll be fully productive again. I hope!

I hope so, too, I've missed your art. I especially miss the Turtles, so I'm expecting the show (gonna use up my grandma's spots it looks like XD, I don't have cable). They're showing a sneak peek at the end of the month, so I'm looking forward to that and see if it's worth the watch (because I am worried about this one).

You know, I'm not too worried about this show, though I understand why some would be. I really like the look of the guys and the thought and detail thats gone into making them all look individual. The change in the origin could be something to worry about, but that said, the origin is always being changed from the original so I won't mind that either, it can't be worse than the origin in the eighties toon, right?

Someone probably will, though it might get pulled off quickly for copyright infringement (especially if Viacom ended up getting its hands on it). The sneak peek's being shown after the Kid's Awards or whatever it is, so if Nickelodeon can be viewed where you live, I think you'd be able to watch the preview.
Yeah, the origin does get changed, but the basics of it stay the same from what I know of. I think the 80s cartoon's origin was closer to the comics' origin.

Nah, in the 80's cartoon Splinter was a human (Yoshi) who got turned into a rat, in the Mirage origin he's Yoshi's pet rat.
I don't get Nickelodeon so I'm gonna have to see it out on the net.

I thought Yoshi did turn into a rat in the comics, and Yoshi's pet rat was made up for the movies. Critical research fail xP.
