..not a very imaginative title but I'm no good at titles.This took me AGES!! Every evening for a week I spent colouring this... and I 'm still not happy with the sky.. but I've never really coloured a sky or clouds before so it's a learning process.
They've got their original red mask/bandana thingys because I haven't coloured them with red masks for a couple of years now.
The line art in in my scraps gallery and this was coloured in my Karisma pencils...

This is too awesome - every evening really paid off because it luks great, the coloring is really smooth, love it. And I like the decision to color the bandana's red, very gud, great work Loolaa!

I think you did a really good job on the sky, the stylised clouds look really nice and outlining them gives them a nice toony touch which works well with the rest of the image. I like the way you did the whiteness around the moon too, it looks a lot more interesting than if you had just coloured it all solid blue :] I was going to suggest getting a white gel pen and adding some stars in the sky...but after looking at it again I don't think it needs them since it works well as it is. The way you drew the turtles themselves looks really nice too, I especially like the poses of the two on the roof.

If you've read any of the original Mirage comics, or seen the covers to them, you'd know that they ALL wear the red masks in those comics, NOT just Raph. They were given the different colored masks for the original cartoon show, so viewers could tell the guys apart when they didn't have their weapons with them or one them...something you can't do with the Mirage Turtles, and Archie Comics continued the idea in their comic version of the Turtles. And this has continued on into the three live-action TMNT movies, and now the new cartoon series. But the Mirage Turtles have ALWAYS had the red masks, and that's the way it will stay. Peter Laird, who is now the sole owner of the Turtles' properties, has said so, and he's one of the TMNT's creators (Kevin Eastman is the other one, but Pete bought him out years ago, as Kev wanted to move on to other stuff BESIDES the Turtles (he owns and runs Heavy Metal Magazine, I think), and has final say-so in the way things are done at Mirage Studios/Publishing.

Me? A Turtle super-fan? *blushes* Thanks for the compliment. I mean, I've loved them ever since the Mirage comics first came out, but I never considered myself a SUPER fan.
And I really didn't mean that to sould like an assault. If that WAS the way it seemed to you, I most sincerely apologize. Like I said, I didn't know if you'd read any of the MIRAGE comics, and I was just trying to set you staright. Gently, I thought, but I guess I goofed a bit. Sorry.
