The unusual magi's apprentice, practiced in the art of casting spells with an ancient stone tread.Drawn in 30 minutes, and colored in photoshop in 1 hour and 30 minutes

Once you get the gist of it, it's pretty easy. Just darken the color of the thing you want to shade, paint it on one side, and then blur it.

Very very interesting. I always used the burn tool. Perhaps that's my downfall...

I haven't tried that....
The only downfall I can see in that is that it's slightly brown....
I might try that in a picture later on...

What I don't like about it is that, if you put it on a skin color, it'll turn it yellow instead of adding shade.

I think there might be some sort of setting in photoshop to change the color... huh. I'll go check...
