It's a bit complicated, but it gets easier after a while-
First save the flipnote as an animated GIF on your SD card, then take it out and put it in the SD card slot on your computer.Β
Find the file under SD card>Private>DS>App>4B475545 (it could be different with yours)>GIF>and then find the file you have the GIF saved in. Β For animated GIFs, it shouldn't be another file, but a saved GIF.
Then just upload it to DA with the preview image Β .3'.
For a preview image, you can make one or just take a screenshot of one of the frames.

It does make sense, I get It very well, but how do you save it as animated gif?

When you save it on the DSi, on the save screen it says "other" below system memory. Press that, then it should say "save as new note", "SD card", and "save as GIF". Press the one that says save as GIF, and it should then say "animated GIF" and "sequential GIF". Press the animated one and do the rest from there .w.

You get used to it after a while, and honestly that's like the best thing I can say about it ;w;
(It's also great practice for your art and silly things like that XD)

i wrote a script for a short cartoon.. my brother and i were going to do the voices using 3 of my pony characters.. i just havent gotten around to the animation part, its in my head though
