I have noticed that every caricature of Einstein, no matter how exaggerated or distorted, looks exactly like him!Β It's all relative, I guess.

There was a young lady named Bright
Whose speed was much faster than light;
She set out one day, in a relative way,
And returned on the previous night!

Albert Einstein:They don't grow anything.
Mr. Einstein:Then what good are they?Quotes from 'Young Einstein' movie, that one cracked me up.

The rescue of kittens in the pie and splitting the atom, exploding the outhouse I think were the best scenes, soundtrack was fairly good too.

Or his other quote:Β "You don't need to be a mathematician to do your income tax, just a philosopher."Β He pretty much nailed that on the head!Β Walk up, Trump!

And we just got through paying about $1300 in Federal taxes because my wife closed out a CD last year to pay off one of our cars.Β Our oldest son needed it to drive to California for his schooling in the Coast Guard.Β Now he's coming home this weekend after graduating from his second school in San Diego.Β Then a friend of his is driving him up to Bellingham, WA, just outside of Seattle to catch the inter-island ferry up to Alaska for his assignment on Kodiak Island.Β

This is amazing! I absolutely adore caricatures and I'm glad I found you as caricature artists are hard to find on here. Also, I was wondering while looking at you other works I noticed they are digital. I use clip studio but can not get a natural pencil look at all when I do caricatures. Do you use specific brushes or brushes with more texture?

Loopydave In reply to Mdrawer [2019-07-22 03:51:41 +0000 UTC]
Aww, thank you for your kind words!
I do my colour work digitally, but all my pencil work is done with a pencil and paper. In fact I start with a pencil drawing and then scan it into the computer to paint the colour.
Mostly I paint with a simple hard edge brush at a low opacity and 'manually' create textures, though I do like to play around with more textured brushes for painterly backgrounds.
Happy drawing and thanks for taking the time to comment!
