Description
Was most fortunate to be asked to write a chapter for the upcoming Digital Painting Techniques Vol. 4 so I painted this as a tutorial piece to demonstrate my approach, painting metals, liquids, calculating reflections and yes, illustrating psychotic pets.Do not build one of these at home... water and electricity together are not your friend.

Journal entry Catchaser 3000 no.21: day 48
.Found out NOT to connect power supply for the 'cat'tle prods near sources of water.
.The Pickelhaube i ordered from Ebay arrived today.....it accentuates my bad@$$ness....had to go to the door to sign for it. thought i'd take the Catchaser 3000 for a spin just in case 'Miffy' was lurking.
.Great results: cat has been chased (moniker justified). Only problem is i'm not sure if the cat is more afraid of the Pickelhaube or the Catchaser 3000.

i was working on the Catchaser 4000 & i'm pretty sure my journal would've assisted in expediting the work & avoiding the 'enlightening' experiences of the 3000 model
PS. please send a cat (or 2) along with the journal, due to the effectiveness of the Catchaser 3000 i have run out of test subjects (so i have no idea if the 4000 is better or not)

If the technique involves something more than painting over the numbers with the indicated color I don't think a tutorial will do me much good.

Possibly a paragraph on the dangers of mixing electricity and water, why goldfish will never rule the world, a 12 point presentation on the technical inaccuracies of such a device or maybe why fried fish is good for your diet?
